SHORT FILM- Bias: Side Characters/Voice Overs needed

Project Overview

Hello! 

I'm currently a student in an Early College for Film called CEC. This is my first year here as a part-time student and my first project to create our own film. While we do have our occasional actors for the film, I'm in need of voice actors for certain scenes that contain characters that aren't in the room. The script is finished and whoever is accepted before the 15th of October will receive their lines at once. Afterwards, you will have to contact me in Finalized Roles or the comments of the role in order to get your script quickly. I need the recordings before the 24th or 25th in order to be able to submit the film before the 27th for the Film Festival in my city(This is explained better in my most recent update).
Current Description of the Film: A young criminal justice major has her life turned on its heel when her mother passes away, now having to take in her violent and emotional older brother with a secret he'll take to their graves. These two have to now live with each other, but there is no happy ending to this fragile family.

*Most of the characters will mostly be voice overs at the end of the film for "credits" and art for the cast was done by myself*The Mic needs to be clear and easy to hear, if I get really lucky this may be seen on a big screen and I wish for it to feel like all of us are proud of the final work.
MULTIPLE PEOPLE WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE MEDIA RELATED ROLES.

  • New Link to the new Project

    Hi guys! I'm going to post the link to the new project here, if you wish to move your News Anchor Role over to that project it's totally cool and I will hopefully get the help that I need from Casting Call after the little setback I had with them.   • Problem with Casting Call and the "Feature" System, I won't let this setback ruin this monumental opportunity.

    Recently I've been looking more at the Project editing and all and have realized that I could've recommended this to a Moderator to be featured. I spruced up the project and sent it back only to be let down by Casting Call itself. Two weeks is a limit from when it's created and I personally believe that is a huge problem to have for the system. Spam is one problem but I feel like this stops new creators who have no idea how this all works to get the help they need. I decided I will create a separate project for other roles/sounds that I need for the project in order to get more people on board for this, hopefully it will get featured by Casting call this time. I will not let a simple setback stop me from getting this done and having it possibly featured at a film festival. BUT, I will be updating here still incase anyone here isn't able to get to the new project. Thanks guys.

  • Important News: Denver Film Festival Project NEXT!

    I apologize for no updates recently, since there hasn't been much of an update for my film as of yet. We're not filming at the moment so I hope it will be fully done by the 20th. But! The most important part is that I found a pretty important opportunity for this film to be seen by more than I thought. This year, the Denver Film Festival is allowing high school students to join into this year's film festival if the film is submitted by the 27th. It'll be HUGE if I'm able to submit this by then, and if we win, it'd be an even bigger accomplishment and good to put on resumes. By the end of the day, I'll start to look at the new auditions(Don't worry Icy I won't forget about you :) ) and try to spread out to more sources to get more some more people on board.

  • Another role added, questioning about another role?

    At the moment I've added another voice-over role for one of the last scenes in the short film. This one is pretty lenient for whoever can take it so good luck guys! There is another role I'm thinking of adding in order to not have one of my classmates sound like they're dying off screen but I'm not exactly sure if it'll be a good idea or not. I'll be sure to update soon for an answer on that.

This guy can have more of a talk show host/Chris Hanson vibe(they'll sorta this universe's counterpart to Chris Hanson) with their voice. This voice is used in one of the final scenes to be symbolism for an off-screen murder that occurs in the background of the scene.  *Age is seen as Ageless, but can't be under teen for obvious reasons*

This is a morgue worker in a random Morgue in North Carolina. They are in this story to tell the main character(Alice) that her mother has passed away. This needs to have a mature voice with a sense of remorse for the main character's loss.

  • I'm calling to inform you, but we found your mother in her home this morning passed away. We believe she died of a heart attack. I'm so sorry for your loss.
