Bad Coal - 1 Minute Short Film (Comedy & possible entry into Melbourne Short Film Festival)
Project Overview
Bad coal is a 1 minute short film, I've been working on, for several weeks. Rather than doing some sort of live-action film, i decided to use my imagination and use HO scale model trains as the characters to create his wacky, yet hilarious video. Before you ask; yes this is inspired by Thomas and Friends, and is in someway a parody. I attempted to use my own set of voices to voice over the characters but it didn't have that effect, which brings me here asking any person/s who'd be interested in voicing one of the three main characters in this little story. If things turn out well, this video, with the permission of the voice actors might see this short film entered into the Melbourne Short Film Festival, this coming April - June. Voice actors will be credited, and even if i can't get the video in by closing date, this video will still be put up on my person YouTube channel: The Lone Railrider. Ralph is an Australian Victorian Railways R class Steam Locomotives, built for hauling freight traffic and passengers services between 1951 and 1974. Ralph is an old, but kind and gentle engine; and at his old age he can easily be tricked into doing something out of his control. (Like taking Bad coal as an example)

*sigh* I don't feel well either. Must of had some bad coal last night..
I was coming back from Morgan after delivering a freight train, when i was halted by another engine wanting something.
Terry/Terri is a 3rd series, T class diesel locomotive, built to run on Australia's Victorian Railways. He/She is always cheerful and very eager to get things done. At the same time as being able to get work done efficiently and safely; Terry/Terri is always looking out for other engines when they are feeling down or have had an accident along the mainline.

For the purpose of this role, whoever is going to try out for this role, attempt to act like you're some kind of drug dealer. The unnamed engine is dealing "Special Coal" which i have decided to use as a more kid friendly word, whilst having the rest of the audience understand the true meaning.
*whisper* Psst. Psst. Hey You.
You look like you could use some more fuel to get home.
