Project Overview
Hey, Thanks for taking the time to check out this casting call.
About: Avengers Assemble is a 2012 comic that started right around the time the Avengers Live Action film was released. The story-line features the cast of the film within the continuity of Marvel's Avengers. The Avengers is an expansive team and the roster continues to grow and change as writers decide to bring out different stories that focus on different characters. In the next issue #6 of Avengers Assemble, Thanos has gained a cosmic cube. The cosmic cube is a powerful force that can eliminate planets and basically serve as a cheat sheet to ruling the universe. The Guardians of the Galaxy have decided to step in and aid the Avengers in determining the next steps in protecting the Earth. At the end of issue 5, they launch into space to take the fight to Thanos.
Roles: I am in need of Mockingbird (a skilled shield-agent), Jessica Jones (a powerful member of the Defenders), and Spider-Woman (an energy projecting version of spider-man).
*Spider-woman will be a reoccurring role.
Look For's: I'd like to hear a good quality microphone and a good performance that shows your basic knowledge of the character.

Olivia Steele
Jessica's powers derive from a special serum and a spider's blood. Her powers and abilities go beyond Spider-man's in that she is able to project energy blasts, control basic electricity, fly, heal at an accelerated rate, emotion manipulation, etc. Jessica, unlike Peter Parker, was born with her abilities due to a blast that hit her mother while working on a Hydra project. She started off as a Hydra agent and became a skilled combatant as a result. Jessica will appear in later issues with a more prominent role in the story.
Voice Type - I think she'd have a sarcastic undertone sometimes as if she knows her job is crazy but she's doing it anyway. Her voice should be confident and medium pitched. Born and raised in London,England so she should have an English Accent.

Barbara was born and raised in San Diego, California. After graduating from college, she inlisted into a special ops team in SHIELD. She's a skilled combatant, strategist, and reliable member of the Avengers. She once had a relationship with Clint Barton (Hawkeye) that died down during the events of lost in the past.
Voice - She's a pretty serious SHIELD agent. Her personality is the opposite of Hawkeye's in that she thinks about the bigger picture and consequences for her actions. Her voice should be medium pitched.
She has a one-liner so I will use the audition line once I choose an actress.

Jessica lives in New York and fights alongside the Defenders. If at all possible, I'd like for her to have a New York accent (Harlem or Brooklyn). She's a powerful member of the team and possesses abilities like flight, strength, and endurance to mind control. She's a pretty popular heroine that got her own Netflix series. She's the wife of Luke Cage (Powerman) and is often seen battling villains alongside him. Her powers basically derive from experimental chemicals. Note- She has a one liner for this issue.
