Avantz - Sillhouette of Silver

Avantz - Sillhouette of Silver

Project Overview

Hello there, First and foremost thanks for taking time to consider this little project and before i go any further i want to disclose that this is mostly a fun little thing to assist me in learning to do more with editing. So i've decided to incorporate it into my weekly pathfinder campaign which i may or may not be live streaming soon.

That being said, If it gets streamed i'll be crediting the folks who helped on my channel and i may very well streaming this for Roll20Con as well, if not you'll still be contributing to shaping an unforgettable experience for a new player group who is just getting introduced to this system.

Now about the Project itself.

Avantz (Pronounced: Ah-Vah-Nts) is a custom campaign setting for pathfinder which i've written and made campaigns and one-shots for myself. It has an expansive amount of lore which i am still compiling into a scabbard account so i may share it more openly with those interested.

Presently I'm starting my Sillhouette of Silver campaign which will take place in the icy mountainous region of Galcea's Edge (Pronounced: Gal-Say-uh).
I'm looking for a Overall Narrator for the world at large, and a few smaller roles for the introductions of main plot characters. To give the Players a real feel for whom they are speaking to and to bring a bit more life to the world.

Note: I will be adding character to this post the first session, For the moment I am in need of a simple narrator for one or two spots that the characters will be introduced to early on and to an important NPC for the remainder of the campaign.
Furthermore, It's a roll 20 game so i use a whole lot of images from google to placehold for tokens. It's a thing, I have little shame.

Beyond that, This is my first project to any scale and it's rather small. Thank you all for reading this at length.

To be quite honest i don't have a particular voice in mind, I simply want something expressive. If you can paint the image with your inflection and pacing then you can do this.

  • The world of avantz so full of wonder and mystery...

  • Galcea's Edge, Once a prosperous trading post, is nothing more than a aging settlement in the cold grip of it's mountainous environment...

  • What awaits our adventurers this time?

Role assigned to: Emily Wylie

Young and rather plucky, Aria is one of the Rozenthorne Family's children.
She prides herself in the knowledge she has regarding the Galcean Library and is often found there, tending to it's stores of knowledge or buried in a tome or two herself.
She is a somewhat studied wizard, Though she prefers theory over practice.
She speaks with the airs of someone who knows everything about their craft, almost a touch arrogant at times.

  • Pardon...The Library is closed.

  • Oh no! The tomes, They'll all burn if we don't do something!

  • I know everything there is to know about this place, Each book, Page, all of it. Just ask and I'll direct you.

Yven Feathren

Yven Feathren is the last remaining member of the esteemed Feathren clan remaining in Avantz. Having died himself several years before the start of the campaign he is met and known only through entries of his journal that the adventurers find beneath the library of Galceas' Edge.

He is an old man at this point, a scholar, and a warrior at times in defense of his students. He has a gentle demeanor and is very logical.

His accent is something of a British-Indian and he speaks eloquently, thinking before his words.
For a good reference whilst not being quite the same, check out Mqs. Halim Ondore from Final fantasy 12.

  • To whomever finds this, My name is Yven Feathren. Last of the Feathren line, The golden pheasant and keeper of the lore of our household.

  • To leave so many of my students behind, it is with great regret that i reflect on years lost to needless conflict and strife. Better spent in teaching the coming generation to be yet better than their fathers and mothers.

  • This library was my pride and joy for many years, though as it stands i see the region withering slowly away. No doubt the trade will dry up soon enough as well...
