Attempt to Conquer (A Super Smash Bros Comedy)
Project Overview
I've written a little machinima series for the latest Smash Brothers game and have some characters already cast, but I could use some more fun voice actors and actresses. The plot is that Ludwig von Koopa is tired of living in the shadow of his father, Bowser, so he devises his own plan to take over the world of Super Smash Brothers. With the help of his brother, Larry, Ludwig manages to get Rosalina, Wario, and King Dedede on his side, and together they endure failure after failure in their attempt to rule the game world, due to the overall incompetence of the group.

Another minor character and Rosalina's meat shield. He's an adorable little creature, who finds this whole scenario stupid, and thus doesn't talk much. His voice should be cute and high pitch, but also cynical
"I try not to involve myself with this idiocy."
A very minor character. Sound like a bratty child.
"Yeah, well your plan probably blows. Dad’s the only one who knows how to come up with a good plan around here."
Far different from the way she acts in the Mario games; Rosalina is arrogant yet cowardly. She'll boast about the abilities she doesn't have, or anything else to make herself look better than she actually is, however, when faced with any physical conflict, she becomes a spineless coward, and will always have an excuse prepared. She's my personal favorite character, so I look forward to seeing what can be done with her.
"Sure, I'll join your team, but I want special privileges. A valuable ally such as myself should be as comfortable as she can, right?"
(nervously) "Black hole? Oh right, well, you see on any other day I would, but today is...special, th-th-the dimensions of the...um...space are a lot weaker than usual, so creating a black hole today could be potentially dangerous for the galaxy and I just can’t let anything like that happen, being the protector of the stars and everything."
(panicking) "Oh god, It's coming after me! Stop the test! Stop the test!"
Ludwig's younger brother and second in command. He's the most rational character of the group; willing to help his older brother out, while putting up with his ego and lack of organisation. He should sound young but mature. I'm willing to be a bit more open minded on this one though, so if you don't think you can pull off a do the child voice, but still think you can pull off the character's personality, than go for it!
"Well, someone has to make sure you don't end up causing some kind of catastrophe."
"Can you stay focused for just one second? I still have no idea what this plan of yours even is!"
(sarcastically) "Please please, I am but your humble servant, my master."
He's a sad sack. You're voice should be soft and depressed, like an angsty teenager.
"I don’t think I should. I’d just end up messing something up."
"Having no one...is better than having me."
'It’s ok to get angry at me, I deserve it."
It's a him, Mario! Add his typical a's wherever you think fit
"Ah yes, I thought you looked familiar. One of Bowser’s kids, uh...Lizzy, was it?"
"Which game was that again? I've been in so many that I have trouble telling them all apart"
Wario isn't too concerned with conquering the world. He's bored, and likes to have fun by getting into fights and messing with Ludwig. As for the voice, it's gruff and...well you know what Wario sounds like, right? Do that, but have it be a little more laid back.
"Hold on, is this the same speech you were going to use on me?"
"It is, isn't it? I bet you practiced this in front of a mirror too, you drama queen."
"Is this the only speech you prepared? Because working for you is going to get really boring if we have to listen to the same speeches over and over again."
Do your best Luigi impression. Add his typical a's wherever you think fit.
"Mario, that's Rosalina, she's from our franchise."
A somewhat minor character. He's the leader of a group of heroes who defend the smash world from potential threats and frequently thwarts Ludwigs team. He's the same good willed and corageous hero he is in the Star Fox games.
We've recently been transitioned into a new console generation. However, with this transition comes vulnerability, a hostile takeover could happen at any moment.
What are the bombs for, if you don’t mind me asking?
A robot that Ludwig’s team builds to help them out who becomes a main character. There’s a slight glitch in his programing, however, which causes him to develop a crush on Larry. His voice needs to be emotionless and robotic.
"What is my next assignment, sir?"
"Master Ludwig, may I ask a question? What are some activities that Larry enjoys doing?"
"If only I possessed the ability to tell him how I really feel."
Not the sharpest tool in the shed and definitely has a few screws loose. He's stupid, unpredictable, and very energetic. I'd like a southern accent for him (I say this here because that wasn't one of the accent options), like his voice in the 4kids dub of the Kirby anime.
"You ain't gonna get an answer out of ol’ Dedede so easily. Mostly cause I forgot the answer, but if I remembered it, you bet yer ass you wouldn’t be getting it out of me so easily"
"I felt it in my blood, and ya know what blood type I am? D positive, which stands for Dedede is positively sure this Ludwig guy's up to somethin sneaky."
"It takes a big man to admit defeat. Lucky for me, the Deedinator's as big as they come, so I admit defeat."
A very minor character. All you need for this role is to sound angry, like you're in an argument with someone who's really stubborn.
"It’s not my fault that, what takes a dumbass like you days to come up with, takes me a few hours!"
"I refuse to take any crap from someone who wears those stupid glasses of yours. The 90’s ended a while ago, Roy, and most of us with taste are trying to forget about them!"
