Askosverse Shorts [Pokemon Fan Project]
Project Overview
Hello, my name is CharaDreamer55, and for about the past 3 years or so, I've been working my very own Pokemon fan project, which I have dubbed the Askosverse. This series of videos details my various ideas for stories that take place inside of my own Pokémon regions that I've created. Currently, I've completed two: the Askos region, based on Romania, and the Fritho region, based on New Zealand. I also have a third one in the works - Delwis, based on Portugal.
However, this casting call is related not to those regions in particular, but to what some might call the "filler content". In order for my channel to have content between Fritho (which finished last month) and Askos 2 (the sequel to Askos, which also has a seperate Casting Call I opened in 2020), I decided to create the Askosverse Shorts, a set of episode-length videos that cover different characters and time periods throughout the Askosverse, going into depth on characters new and old.
I think that's enough explanation on what this project is about. Now to explain the roles! Currently, I'm looking for some replacements for some VAs that unfortunately quit.
Please keep in mind that this and the greater Askosverse as a whole count as a long-term project, so you have to be willing to wait at most a few months between when I give you assignments (unless you're a writer).
I'm looking for people I can work well with, so make sure to bring your A game, and I'm sure we can become friends!

Clover is a sweet and kind girl who always tries to put a smile on other people's faces, even if they're complete strangers. This makes her a bit too eager to please, but she always tries her best to see the light in any situation. She also has a rather dry sense of humour which compliments well with her partner, Basil Palm.
Oh, let me get that for you! You must be Basil. It’s nice to see you again.

Professor Douglas Palm is the Fritho regions' leading Pokemon Professor, who's researching Pokémon of myths and legends whilst raising his (step)sons, Basil and Peter, alongside his loving wife Anne. He's a little insecure about his abilities as a father, but honestly, compared to he must be pretty great :)
Oh, Clover! Basil has told me a lot about you. Why don’t you two come and help me with something? There’s a few Pokedex entries here that Professor Oak sent me, that need amending...
You’re right. I can’t exactly give you the answers you’re looking for….life is hard like that.
You'll do great, Basil. I guess you really did find your calling here, after all?

Peter is relatively shy and has been slightly sheltered for the majority of his life. He's easily flustered, but is actually braver than he may first look, especially when he has the support of his friends and family around him. Although, he does bare a few burdens, as he despises his biological father for ruining his life, but deep down, wishes that they didn't have to mutually hate each other. [It's a very complicated relationship.]
[impressed] I'm impressed that you two are still at that...I figured you would have moved on a while ago. But it's nice to know that you finally found your calling.
Well, we're still waiting for you to visit. Nina started cooking, so now we don't have to eat any of my disgusting food.

Nina is an enthusiastic girl who is over-excitable and a little flighty. She gets really passionate about her interests and loves being the centre of conversations. However, she is able to have her down-to-earth moments, and knows when she needs to get serious, especially when it comes to protecting her friends and family.
Oh, by the way! We wanted to tell you something - something really important!

June Edwards strives for validation. While she can be analytic about her situation her sense can be drowned out at a chance for validation. She is somewhat doubtful of her boss's methods, and is even more scared of his business partner...
I don’t know about this… This is the same kind of stuff I was trying to prevent when I was with Interpol… are you sure this is for the good of the world…?
