Ask Factory Scootaloo (Tumblr Dub)
Project Overview
It focuses on Scootaloo, who works at the Cloudsdale Weather Corporation (aka The Rainbow Factory) for Rainbow Dash, based on the fanfic/Creepypasta by Aurora Dawn
It tells a story of Scootaloo's life in the factory and how she goes about everyday life there.
This dub will be rated a 15+ due to some blood/gore, murder, some swearing + sensitive topics, so if this isn't for you, you do not have to watch the dub/interact with this post.
If you do like things like this and feel like you could voice some of the characters, feel free to audition! I'd love to see you guys in the dub.
Sadly, not everyone will get through, keep in mind that I am asking a majority of people and there are only around 24 roles up for audition (unless you audition for askers then there will be many more auditions up for selection)
If you do not get picked, do not worry as there may be another opportunity like this in the future and you could easily get into that dub!!
I will be voicing all versions of Scootaloo in this dub except for the gender swap later in the blog.

When you send in your audition, please write down your Discord name + tag or Twitter handle so I can contact you with the lines and details about the dub as it is being made (If you do not have Discord or Twitter, feel free to give me your email address, Discord is the easiest way for me to communicate with people but this works too)

Rainbow Dash is the Manager of the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, she has a slight rasp in her voice. She is a sky blue pegasus with a rainbow mane and is who Scootaloo looks up to, even slightly so after finding out she was a mass murderer.
"Well you better toughen up squirt, I chose you because I see a little bit of me in you. I see you going places, like me. Now you won't let me down right?"
(Yelling at Death) "I know what I'm doing! She needs to learn to be tough! SO BUZZ OFF!!!"
"You're shitting me right? It's to get rid of the failures that aren't fit for Cloudsdale's standards and to redeem them by making sure that their Spectra makes a beautiful rainbow for everyone to enjoy"
Death is the Grim Reaper, he is a supporting role in this Tumblr and is across many blogs on the platform. He is also an asker throughout the blog. Death is seemingly deep in his voice.
"DASH!! I know you told me to stay out of it but I think you're going too far with this"
"Hmmm, you seem down... I KNOW. You have not had a welcome party, I'll get surprise right on that. In the mean time this is for you (hands Scoots a small present) it should help."
"You brought Scoots here to be a patch for your psyche. To remind you of who you used to be. To make you think that everything can still be okay. But no, even you have to try and ruin that."
Anonymous askers have magical powers and ask questions throughout the whole of Tumblr blogs within Tumblr. They are always mysterious and never specify who they are.
"MA! Genderswap for 5 updates."
"M!A Orion is in factory for rest of rule 63 posts, M!A Orion is rule 63 for rest of rule 63 posts"
"You know what would be neat to see? Mare Orion. And you know what? He's right here." *poof*
Dr Hoofsing works at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, he is seemingly some type of psychiatrist that is bad at his job and only cares about getting failures for Spectra to please Rainbow Dash. He appears as an ask while also in the story.
"Scoots, that's not jelly. Oh sweet Luna you're going through denial. Scoots, the sooner you realise this the better off you'll be. Now bring me a failure for the test."
Ghostly Discord is an AU version of Discord from My Little Pony. For this character I will need someone who can do a good Discord voice. If you need to please use some examples from YouTube (eg:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xtbWyzEEZg)
"Oh yes because it's ALWAYS Discord. Discord this, Discord that. What about the little people? I'm the Chairman, so get that straight
"OF COURSE IT WAS THE GHOST! DID YOU NOT EVEN READ THE STUFF FROM BEFORE!? THAT WAS CLEARLY THE PLAN!"
Great, I broke it. I'm not being sarcastic, this is actually a good thing for me. At least it's easier to fix her broken mind than one that's being manipulated."
Green is a 'failure' sent to the Rainbow Factory to be turned into Spectra for rainbows. He is distraught about Violet and has a lot of issues turning him into some kind of monster (hence the name 'Little Monster').
"I'm Green, nice to meet you"
"I'll kill you! I'll gut you! I'll tear you apart! YOU MADE EVERYTHING WORSE, YOU COWARD!!"
"Why...? Why won't the pounding stop!?"
Blue is a 'failure' sent to the Rainbow Factory to be turned into Spectra for rainbows. She is a minor character who screams when she wakes up and is friends with Green and Violet.
"It was a good dream too..."
"IS VIOLET SAFE!?"
"Yo- You're lying... right? You wouldn't do that, right? You're Orange."
Violet is a 'failure' sent to the Rainbow Factory to be turned into Spectra for rainbows. She has a small role in the story but Scootaloo becomes attached to her pretty quickly, Violet is usually seen with Green and Blue and talks about a pony called Red very often.
"Hello Orange, I'm Violet"
"I remember actions better than names. Besides I think the color naming is cool. Red liked it."
(talking over Scootaloo) "Confident? Because Red will save us. We must be bait...he got out."
Orion is a brown stallion with a red mane who was Scootaloo's love interest in the fanfic Rainbow Factory. He saved Aurora in the flight exam, failing them both.
Scootaloo... sorry. But we can't talk here. Meet me at the 'Trailing Clouds' in ten minutes"
"Scootaloo about the Weather Facility... They...rainbows are made from-"
"Then what will you do!? Just continue killing fillies and colts!?"
Aurora Dawn (Miss Manager) is the Manager of the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, her cousin is the Aurora Dawn we know of from the Rainbow Factory fanfiction who is a failure saved by Orion. She seems to really dislike her cousin and never speaks of her.
"Do I really need a reason to talk to my employees? After all, you're my favourite killer here."
"WHY ARE YOU ASKING QUESTIONS TO MY EMPLOYEES!? DASH IS BEHIND IT ISN'T SHE!?"
"Just like that pathetic Rainbow Dash. All I need to do is break you. Don't you dare talk about my cousin."
Dr Atmosphere works at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory. He is a serious stallion who cares about his job and does not seem to like the Manager, Aurora Dawn.
"Miss Dawn... I understand you need to scare the new workers... but we have work to do, and I'd like to keep my time schedule in line."
"You're bleeding onto the floor, get up."
"Miss Dawn... STOP acting like a child and let the children speak."
Megabolt is a bat-pony who works at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, he is a new member and plays a small role in the story, more near the end of the Tumblr blog.
(accidentally making Scootaloo jump) "Hey do you know where to find the uniforms?"
"I'm a vampire pony. Well, I used to be an earth pony... But that's not important. I just started working here last night. Haven't met most of the staff, or even gotten a tour of the facility. Oh and my name is Megabolt."
"Hey, you're just trying to change the subject because you're losing."
Shady Gear is an engineer at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, she seems to hate her job and speaks to herself.
"It seems the rebellious inadequate has regained his cognitive senses"
"Work, work, work! That seems to be all I'm doing lately. One day I'm an engineer and the next, Miss Dawn doesn't trust me. I need to stop talking to myself.."
"Negative. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She seemed to take pleasure in her actions."
Lord Crimson is a specific asker in the Tumblr blog, he is seemingly dark and enjoys Scootaloo's suffering.
"So has your opinion changed of Rainbow Dash now that you know that she's a killer?"
"It seems that you're not quite adjusted yet are you? Hehe, if you keep up at it your mind might just snap."
Glaze (aka WoodenToaster) is a worker at the Rainbow Factory, she makes a cameo in the blog and has one line.
"I'm busy, ask somepony else"
"Could you perhaps... find a way to clean up in here?!? The janitorial staff ain't barely doing nothing!"
This Grey Stallion appears in a frame with Orion, talking to him about deliveries.
"All right, this order is larger than normal Comet, planning a party?"
"Consider it done."
A Turquoise Mare with 1 line who appears in Cloudsdale when Orion tells them he has to leave.
"But, I just got here"
A red stallion in Cloudsdale who tells Scootaloo that Comet makes anypony happy.
"She's right! If Comet can't make you happy, Miss, nopony can!"
A blue stallion who appears in the Factory after a grey stallion tells Rainbow Dash that he is keeping them behind schedule.
"Sometimes I don't know what to do in life..."
"C-c-can't stop working g-gonna k-k-kill m-me..."
A grey stallion shows up in a frame telling Rainbow that a new worker is keeping them behind schedule
"Oh thank god you're in, the new guy has us so behind schedule I don't think we can finish before the next shift gets here."
Silver Lining is a mare that works at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, she helps bring in failures to be made into Spectra for rainbows.
"Today we need two volunteers"
"You two, come with us"
The anons use their powers to swap Scootaloo from a mare to a stallion, he seems to like it a lot. This only happens briefly.
"Having some trouble with the take off and landings. Trying to perch on stuff is a nightmare."
"You really think so~? Being a colt isn't really all that bad to be honest."
"Are you serious? If so, I don't think I want to turn back."
Frenzy works with Serious Rainbow, he delivers a gift to Scootaloo telling her to go to Serious.
"It is I. Frenzy. I am here to give you Serious Rainbow's Gift. It is very important."
"Sent by Serious. Here to give gift."
"Keep going. She waits."
White stallion who appears with Shady Gear in the factory seeing Scootaloo run past, he wonders if he saw horns.
"Tell me, did you see horns?"
She is a very kind filly who helps Scootaloo meet Orion again, telling her about seeing him fly and how he makes everyone smile with his positivity.
"Hey Comet! Dad saw you coming and went to the cart to fetch your order"
"I know who can cheer you up! Comet can! Comet can make anypony smile!
"I first saw him flying at night - and WOW is that a sight to see! I thought he was a Wonderbolt - He isn't of course though."
Dopey is Serious Rainbow's pet Dopefish. It has a very small role but it still speaks at least once.
"Swim swim not hungry, Rainbow!"
"Friend?"
We need a male voice actor willing to voice an informative 'recruitment video' in the dub.
"Welcome to Cloudsdale, Pride home of the flock, the great pegasus race. For many millenium the Flock has tended to the weather of Equestria."
"Pegasi that cannot fly are a disgrace. Once cast out of Cloudsdale a new purpose was discovered by our noble forefathers. Failures are sacrificed for one last gift to Equestria."
"And that is where you come in, you must make sure the Failures are allowed to complete their final use. To maintain the pride of Cloudsdale."
