Project Overview

Hi all. I am the author of 'Arweden - Custom Voiced Companion Mod' for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Not only does it add a companion mod but a Main Quest divided across 4 Chapters.


I am need of further voice actors and actresses for some unvoiced characters who will all play a major role.



NOT only a companion mod, this project adds a new faction, The Resistance, a renegade High Elven sect dedicated to preserving freedom and restoring their home land to their former glory. They are here in Skyrim to excavate an ancient elven ruin which may hold a power which may assist in their efforts. At risk, however, of an invasion of their enemy, the Aldmeri Dominion. But a more ancient evil begins to awake. And beneath their feet, the long dead now awaken. The player must unwravel this mystery and stop this before it has a chance to carry out its evil plan.



Deep within Mathmeldi, an ancient king, thought dead lies dormant and alive. The Resistance's efforts to excavate Mathmeldi has awakened this king who seeks to restore Elven rule and the Ayleid Empire. The Resistance must prevent the king from enacting this plan whilst battling the Thalmor and Aldmeri Dominion, their sworn enemy who later, discovers Mathmeldi and attempts to destroy the Resistance. In the middle, is the player and their companion, Arweden, a young Altmer who has run away from Summerset Isles her home. Little does she know, she is a descendent, and of royal blood.

  • Audition Dead Line: 28/02/18 (Extended from 5/2/18)



  • You may audition for as many characters as you want.. If there are characters still needing to be voiced, the audition dead line will be extended whilst characters with auditions will be 'closed' after choosing suitable actors. More roles will open as Chapters 2, 3 and 4 opens up later this year. With Chapter 2 opening as soon as March and April.

  • Although this is unpaid/voluntary I am more than happy to provide as much support as you need, if you are a budding voice actor/actress. In the form of Preview Youtube Videos and if need be, a written reference. As a university academic and current graduate Registered Nurse and Paramedic, I am quite familiar with writing referee notes/letters whatever it may be, for students should you need it.   • Feedback From Players -> Changes

    Based on Feedback, I have decided to create a bunch of new characters. Although there is a colorful cast of characters, there are a few that are 'generic' or 'background NPCs' which have no unique dialogue and there for fillers, this will change based on said feedback, I will be creating new dialogue and redesigning some of these generic characters into unique ones and write them into the story. As such the deadline will be expanded to feature these characters who will vary between minor to supporting characters. Stay Tuned.

  • Update

    Progress on the project is continuing however I must balance between work which can vary between 3 to 6 days in a row, and this project can only be worked on during my days off. That being said remarkable progress has been achieved with a lot of bug fixes and of course main development of Chapter 2 onwards. Thanks to all who have contributed, I am in the process of finalising scripts. I've made some big changes to ensure the story is straight forward as it is progressed by the player.

  • New Roles + New Deadline

    Hi everyone, progress on story and dialogue is going faster than expected. Apart from awaiting a few more lines Chapter 1 Redux V1.5 will be live very soon. Dialogue for Chapter 3 and 4 have been finalised as such new roles will be available in the coming weeks

  • Project Update

    Hi all, I've cast a fare few characters in the last week or so. Fear not, more are coming very soon as I continue to finalise dialogue and personalities for each character. The auditions have all been of high quality! Thank you all! I've been polishing up the latest update to ensure it is of the highest quality possible as well. For the 'King of Mathmeldi' and the 'Princess', I am having difficulty choosing from all the auditions! I have listened to all of them several times now. Still, having to make a difficult choice. I will cast them very soon, likely by the end of the weekend. New characters will be put up also over the weekend.

Along with the King and his daughter, Aranthil is a guardian and skilled warrior. I am looking for a voice actor that is able to add a 'savage and cold' voice but one that is articulated and calculating. I would rather have him have a 'deeper voice' to emphasise his 'warrior' like persona. He is physically alive but will be confronted as  a 'projection' throughout the chapters.

The King of Mathmeldi's daughter. She like her father and possibly others have been laying dormant in their "tombs" for reasons only explained and known by her father. She is one of the last Ayleids unknown to history to survive beyond their 'extinction'. She wishes to have no part with her father's plans which even she is oblivious too.

Second to Lord Acaranil, Lady Morginia is a high ranking Thalmor member and a brilliant tactician with an obsession for prolonged torture of her victims. Sadistic and cruel, Lady Elaanwe is 'not insane' but rather takes great pleasure and joy in the pain she inflicts on the Dominion's Enemies. A powerful sorceress she is not to be trifled with.

Secondary Antagonist/Lead/Major Role: Will appear in Chapter 3 and 4

A high ranking commander of the Aldmeri Dominion, and a member of the Thalmor. Lord Arcarinil eventually leads the Dominion into Mathmeldi after discovering it. An Altmer/High Elf supremist, Lord Arcarinil will stop at nothing to ensure all of Tamriel, of the world, falls under the banner of the Aldmeri Dominion, when the elves rule the world.

Elwaninde can be approached to buy or sell magical items. Her role is also to dicern the nature of magical items, artifacts or of the sort while the Resistance excavates the ruins. She is terribly arrogant and despise disturbances to her work.

Support Role

Anaril is a knight paladin, tasked on protecting excavation teams into Mathmeldi, the ancient elven ruin. He despises his role and believes the excavation will be fruitless. He fights for a resistance faction and believes the ruins form an inescapable trap should the enemy, the Aldmeri Dominion and Thalmor, the ruling faction invade them.
