Art school poetry project
Project Overview
Greetings. Never been on this site before this will be our first and only job.
We're from an art school in the netherlands, we need an english speaking girl or woman to narate our "poetry" project. A litte info about the project, it is a collection of "poems" that are from a woman who is leaving her husband because he is cheating on her, she found his letters and pictures, and text messages. The first 10 poems or so are about herself, her doubts her fears and insecurities. the next batch is about her husband, and then it starts going about leaving and love and all this and that.
This is a group project of 7 people, none of wich are female or can speak with a realistic english accent ( when we say english we don't mean brittish, just native english speaking ). We recorded the poems ourself and came at around 30 minutes of footage. So We estimate that you would do an hour for the job. We each donated 5€ so thats 35€, on paypal, translate that to your own currency. If you really need more, we can probably arrange it, but we're not professionals.
Neither of us are writers, most of us do graphic design and poetry is just a course we have to do. So the poems are really bad/weird/angsty. We know this, we understand that you do know this also.
For auditions we'll let you say a few lines we think are different then the other lines, the other lines are just normal english sentances etc etc so no worries there.

This is from 2 poems, 3 minute of work or something.
I never was his center of attention. I was his center of regret.
You speak of love like you chose it, like you planned it from the very start.
I was lead into your arms, and now you lead me into hers.
Don't read it too heroic. don't read it too slow, if you can read it 2 times with a different speed/heroism so we have a better understanding
90% of the entire project is this role, another 9% is one of the cheating girls, 1% is the husband, which we already have an actor for.
You think it is the the first? Today is the second of april. The very last second of april. ( this is the ending of the poem, read it slow and the last sentance should sound like it has no follow up, don't sound angry )
Now I'm not your wife, I'm not your Sharona. Now... I'm a woman, I'm my Sharona. ( don't sound too angry, you're not angry. don't put emphasis on "my" sharona, yes this is a reference to the song, we don't want to make it obvious)
