[Animatic] Male (a snake) narration for an animatic assignment

I'm seeking someone who is able to do very short narration for an animatic! (storyboards put to video)

I am an animation student and I'm doing a brief animatic that is adapting an excerpt from the novel, The Circus of Dr. Lao. Given this is an animatic and not full animation, lip synching is not a problem as you are basically literally narrating still images like a storybook.

The character to be voiced in qusetion is a male serpent reminiscing his encounters with his first love. There is a little violent imagery here and there, because he has small anecdotes describing eating other animals.

The person's voice does not necessarily have to sound like a stereotypical snake/serpent one might so often hear in fiction, but a sort of voice that is able to capture that essence. The character is very ambivalent.

Here is an excerpt from the text someone can use to audition:

'I still remember my first affair. It must have been eleven centuries ago. Ah, but she was lovely! Some twenty feet longer that I she must have been, for I was a yearling then; and her great fangs were like the blades of pickaxes. I was in the west; she was in the east. I smelled her all the way across the world. It was the first time I ever smelled that smell, but I knew what it meant: funny how one knows some things without ever being told. I steered through the ocean waters to the east where she dwelled.'

What will be recorded for the final work might be actually much shorter and more condensed, but this is for the sake of hearing out if you are able to capture the character.
