Project Overview
Hi, I'm Paul from the channel "Paradoxar" and the current project I am working on, "Animals", is a crime / thriller Machinima created in GTAV with a length of approximately ~20 minutes. To sum it up, the plot evolves around the Deputy Von Shep, who is living in Grapeseed, next to the Grand Senora desert. As his wife suddenly goes missing after a suspicious phone call, a lot of signs hint towards a long missing serial killer.
The Idea is basically for the project to be an "homage" to countless crime / thriller movies I have watched and enjoyed, therefore having several references spread throughout (some minor ones and some more obvious ones). Some of the influences are "Zodiac", "True Detective", "Prisoners", "Gone Girl" and "Split" just to name a few. If familiar, these movies and shows can also be taken as a reference to the themes, style and tone I am going for.
It is already in full production, a lot has been filmed already and most of the roles have found a fitting voice actor. Now I need two more which are crutial to the story.
I do not have a specific time frame in which I plan to complete the project, but due to the roles being rather small I am currently aiming around the end of this month.

He approaches the protagonist at a point in the story, out of nowhere, offering his help. We do not know if he is trustable. He makes an innocent impression, we can tell he lived in the area (Grapeseed, next to the Grand Senora desert) for a long time.
This character has only a very brief appearance, thus we do not know his name and neither does the protagonist.

Dyl in the Dark
Merle Abrahams is the psychotic killer that goes by the name of the "Infinity Killer". He is one of the main antagonists in the film, although his meeting with the protagonist only comes towards the end. Merle is only ever seen wearing a mask, we can just hear the ice cold, calm and dark voice behind it.
Overall, Merle is just a figure used by the "real" antagonist of the film to mislead and eventually kill the main character. Since we only learn this towards the end, the "Infinity Killer" stays a main focus throughout.
His own motives do not seem to reach much further than his almost instinctive need to kill, although he has a tortuous and somewhat spiritual obsession with the number 8, as it is "just infinity stood up".
Abrahams severely injures the main character, the Deputy Von Shep, before he gets killed himself.
"Don't move to much. And press your hands onto your wound. You will bleed out..."
