"And They Were Roommates" Podcast

"And They Were Roommates" Podcast

Project Overview

Founders Valentine and Val are searching for LGBT voice actors that would want to be apart of a long-term project.

We would like to introduce "And They Were Roommates" (ATWR) an storytelling podcast. Our idea shares similarities to "The Adventure Zone" which is a D&D podcast. Instead of going along the D&D route, we decided to just make a (possibly) original concept.

We will have a "godlike" narrator of the story to control the flow of each episode. Then the characters will decide the decisions they'll make to change the storys direction. It adds an element of surprise for the narrator as they have to decide where to guide them next.

The characters must be completely original to the voice actor, so have in mind their voice and personality should be prepared. Theres only two open slots for the PERMANENT characters because Val, Valentine and Dons will be taking two characters and god.

In order to audition:

▪LGBT exposure and acceptance or that you are actually LGBT

▪Have Discord

▪ A good mic would be preferred but not needed

▪ Be comfortable with revealing your face to the other members

▪ Be willing to maintain an actual friendship outside of the podcast bc were gunna spend a lot of time together!!!

Btw! Val and Valentine are both trans! It was pure coincidence that we have a similar name lol.

Val - she/her

Valentine - he/him
