Emergency Call! Along the River Bank - Audio play
Project Overview
Hello! This is a very quick and last minute project that will be uploaded to youtube as a bit of a tester for my full length play version of the script.
If you are cast you must be able to send in your lines by April 12th at the latest.
The role of Rosa has already been cast.
All characters are from mexico city. So an accent resembling that would be great!
Please have a good mic with minimal background noise.
Thank you!

She is very neutral in her family and sees herself as a peacekeeper. She rarely raises her voice. She's a hard book to read and could possibly be holding in some secrets.
Rosa por favor, stop this! (Begging)
How dare you say you love me and proceed to hit MY children. OUR children! (Arguing)
Not tonight… I am not letting you back in this house. Not tonight. (Hurt)
He is a flawed man and he knows it. He's stubborn and sticks to what he believes to be best for his family. He has a tendency to get drunk more often than he cares to admit.
Do you remember? How often I would come. You were my safe space. Nothing bad could happen along the river bank. What a bunch of bullshit. You’re just false hope. You lead those around you to the true evil…The water. The dark murky waters. You move to the beat of your own drum, all you are is an illusion! You take. You kill. You leave. Tomar. Matar. Salir.
¿QUÉ HICISTE CON MI PINCHI DINERO?! (Angry and Loud)
They’re my kids as well!
A very optimistic child. Through everything he goes through he tries to see the best in everyone. He truly cares for his older sister and looks up to her. He sounds innocent in the way he speaks as well. Age can be anywhere between 7 -12. If need be he can be a teenager 15-18 but i prefer a child.
Whoa! How did you find this place?
I think. I think its saying … eres un idiota. (teasing)
He was drunk. He didn't mean to.
