Alola !
Welcome to Vennen, the smallest region in the Pokémon world. Here you will find many unique people and Pokémon if you choose.
Welcome to the Alola, Vennen project! This is about a girl and her sister who travel from the Pokémon region Alola to stay with cousins in Vennen during the summer break. During this time the protagonist (Gala) will make new friends, enemies and more!
I’m not sure how many series’ there will be, but there would be 6 episodes per series as the project is set in a summer break. (I am British so a summer break to me is 6 weeks.)
The project will be organised on Discord, so if you aren’t happy to get that if you don’t already use it, don’t audition !
We will need a range of people ranging from artists to voice actors so try out ! You’re pretty likely to get a spot! Please do audition for different roles, however for voice acting you are likely to only be cast as one. Unlike scripters/artists etc because we need as many of you guys as we can!
As all good Pokémon regions do, Vennen has their own resident team called Krystal. Who’s goal is to run the island of Vennen with an iron fist using their Pokémon. They do not treat Pokémon well or with respect. You wouldn’t know if even your best friend was a member they are so secretive and good at lying.
New roles will very likely be added often enough so if you do not get a role you would have liked, another may appear!
Please be 12+ if you would like to work on this project. Sorry if that eliminates you I’d just rather I have more mature people working on the project!
Also when you audiotion for any role, in the part where you can leave a message please put your discord name and # so I can contact you if you get the role!

Gala is the protagonist of the series. She is the most important character so I would need you to be super reliable. She is naturally a sassy person so you should be able to hear that in her voice. She is 14
“Ugh Mom! I love them and all but do we have to spend the whole summer there?” Annoyed, sassy
“Pew pew (finger guns) Hey Kyle ! Good to see ya.” Happy, Energetic
“Primarina, I choose you!” Energetic
She is a main character in her late teens (18 - 19) and is best friends with Abigail and Kirsty. She is sassy, probably where Gala gets it from. She acts grown up and is a responsible person when she chooses to be.
“Vennen’s not that bad! Chin up kiddo.” Calm, tired
“Aye aye! I spy two lesbians 12 o’clock.” Joking, excited
“Ugh buzz of Mac, vulpix do your thing.” Sassy, annoyed
He ranks high in team Krystal and yet is the youngest there (15). He is friends with the main characters but hides the fact he is a member of Krystal. He is closest to Gala and they just ‘get each other, ya know?’ They confide in each other and would follow the other to the end of the world.
“Don’t worry Gala it’s cool. I get it” Reassuring, calm
“I’m in a room full of adults and yet you all act like 5 year olds.” Irritated, annoyed
“I’m sorry Gala I had to! What I said to you wasn’t a lie I swear!” Worried, annoyed
Kyle is Gala’s cousin who she stays with over the summer. He is a lead role so I would need you to be reliable. Feel free to redo lines while recording ! He is 15.
“Growlithe use flamethrower!” Energetic, happy
“Gala! Good to see you!” Happy, calm
“H-How could you?” Shocked, betrayed, confused
Louise is Gala’s younger cousin who she stays with over the summer. She is only a supporting character but she is still important !
“Gala! Bailey! I missed youuuuu!” Energetic, thrilled
“K-Kyle..? What’s going on?” Worried, scared
“I don’t understand! Make it stop! M-Make it stop..” Scared, confused, crying a bit
She is a main character in her late teens (18 - 19) like Kirsty. She is dating Kirsty and is good friends with the other main characters. She’s a confident and caring character and won’t hesitate to make inappropriate jokes.
“Hey babe~ *laugh* Arceus you’re cute when you blush.” Teasing, happy
“Okay okay what!? So we’re just.. moving on from all that straight away?” Confused, a bit concerned
“Ninetails get out there!” Annoyed, Energetic
She is a main character in her late teens (18 - 19) like Abigail. She is dating Abigail and is good friends with the other main characters. She has had a stutter since she was a child and is quite shy and sensitive. She is also training to be a Pokémon professor.
“A-Abi! Stop it!” Flustered, embarrassed
“Gardevoir use fairy wind!” Confident yet quiet
“H-how could you! Y-you monster I trusted you!” Distraught , betrayed
She is a supporting character however she is important and I will need you to be active. She is a young adult who tends to act a bit childish however has a very serious and strict side. She’s 25 - 27.
“Hm? Oh visitors! Hey, I’m Mina, Vennen’s very own Pokémon professor!” Excited, happy
“Kirsty just.. follow my lead okay?” Serious, calm
“Really. Wow that’s low even for you.” Unimpressed, annoyed
She is a high ranking member of Team Krystal, even though she is an adult she constantly acts like a child. She also has very strong and Loyal Pokémon even though she doesn’t treat them the best.
“Oh my Arceus. *scowl* More of you? I would’ve hoped you’d have given up by now.” Annoyed, bored
“Mac? Can we go yet? This job is boring.” Whining, annoyed
“*manic laughter and sigh* Oh you do never learn do you? Never mind then. *shout* Lucario show them who’s boss!” Amused, Confident
Extra’s and team Krystal grunts will show up now and again. If you are an extra we may ask you to be an understudy if a person cannot get their lines in on time/ or a person leaves the project and you auditioned for that role.
Multiple people will be cast/ i will message you. This role will always be open as extras are always wanted.

“Ha! Once we defeat you we’ll take your Pokémon too!” Cocky, confident

They are Lucas’ mother or father (depending on whoever gets the role). They are cocky and confident, able to run team Krystal with an iron fist. At first they won’t be such a main character but will become more important.
“Ugh, stupid bloody grunts. Can’t believe they’ve got a spot in our utopia, aye kid?” Annoyed yet amused
“Dragonite, Charizard! Let’s wipe the floor with these sissy’s!” Confident, calm
“Toughen up Lucas. You’re a Shienoan for crying out loud. Can’t let you be weak can I?” Loud, annoyed

As a character artist you would help me design characters/outfits, as well as new Pokémon that are exclusive to Vennen.
I’d love loads of artists so if I want to cast you I will message you and leave this open!

I would be doing all animations in this project alone and quite frankly, I’d need help. The animations wouldn’t need to be big and flashy. Just small things like expression changes on the characters or fake loading screens.
This role will be closed when I find two suitable animators! (I’ll message you!)

You will help write scripts for episodes as well as help with the plot and character deveopment. You won’t need to be majorly active, however there will be writing meetings I would like for you to attend for us to discuss the plot/developments/future episodes and more!
If you are a script editor, before we send lines off to our VA’s you would check over the scripts, making sure lines make sense/grammar is correct and changing it if it is not.
