Project Overview
Against The Odds (ATO) is a non-profit fandub of our very own comic that is currently in production. ATO takes place on modern day Earth in the year of 2017/2018. PLEASE ONLY TRY OUT IF YOU HAVE A DISCORD!
The Plot:
On average, it takes a Changed two to three years to realise the basics of their existence. These basics come in the form of a few rules. One, you are now a changed. You are not dead or living. Two, there are many like you, who all have ‘abilities.’ And three: the Py’ran keeps you alive.
The Py’ran is a mass held in stasis between the crust and the magma of the Earth. It holds unimaginable power, and though no one knows where it came from, when a person become or is born as Changed, the memory of the Py’ran is implanted in their mind.
But a new group of people - Changed and human alike thinks they may have found how and why the Py’ran is on Earth. And it may be the end of the world as we know it.
Changed and human must pick a side as they fight to keep the Py'ran alive or to destroy it - but there's a catch.
The Py'ran keeps the Changed alive. All successful Changed learn this. Without it, they will die. If the Py’ran lives, however, it will drain the life of the Earth until all humans die, and the Py’ran will return to its homeworld. It will take the Changed with it.
The Changed must make a choice. Keep the Py'ran alive, live an undead half-life for a few decades, destroy humanity and the world as we know it, then be sucked into an unknown world? Or sacrifice your life for others, and allow many more to live. The choice seems easy - but the Changed become Changed for a reason.
A human can become a Changed in two ways. One, they must be dead, and they must die after experiencing such trauma or hardship that they return simply for revenge, or for justice. Or two, a human goes through circumstances that remove them from the human mindset so much that they start developing symptoms of a Changed. These two factors often means a human-turned-Changed’s morals coincide with ‘kill’ and ‘survive.’ Humans - and some select Changed - must find a way to defeat these powerful creatures before time runs out.

Voice Type: Alto-Tenor, shy stutter, mostly calm though. (For all these lines, add stutters where you believe they belong)
Description: Takes Slender's side, almost always. He can sometimes question if Slender is always correct, though. Hoodie is his closest friend who knows how he got to be the way he is.
Hoodie.. I don't understand.. I don't understand why they're so angry.. are they angry with us?
I think you guys just need to be more open.. why would he betray us? Why do you think he'd do this to us?
Maybe they are right.. maybe I am just crazy.. maybe he is trying to misinform us..
Voice: Tenor-Bass. Aggressive and strong-like.
Description: Doesn't really care what others have to say. He usually listens to himself, but will abide by Slender's rules if he needs to.
I don't think you guys understand how dumb you sound. He doesnt't need you at all, he's using you! Get that through your head!

Voice: Bass. Native American-like, very dark tone.
Description: In the middle of being rouge and on Zalgo's side. Very minor character, but very important.
I can smell your fear.. very.. fear-y..

Voice: Tenor-Bass. Very demonic and evil sounding.
Description: Zalgo's dog, can only speak through Agmen's (an oc) magic. He hunts and kills for his own personal gain.

Voice: Baritone. Very nervous and has a stutter.
Description: A young male, very timid. He's very courageous and confident, but easily frightened. He really just goes with the flow, and follows instructions.
You can stop shaking.. that's my job.

Tick tock, boss.. we're starting to run out of time..!
Voice: Tenor, not too low but not too high. He's quite confident.
Description: Rouge all by himself, pops in and out of Slender's group and occasionally helps them out. Has his own proxies, but follow him around like lost souls.
I promise, there's no strings attached.

Voice: Tenor. English/Japanese. Standard male voice, smooth way of speaking.
Description: On Zalgo's side, like a trickster and messes with Slender's proxies. He's very manipulative and cocky.
It's not MY fault that you fall for my tricks..
I know it's not in my nature, but can you please take this seriously..? Just for a few minutes?
