About 'A Change Is Gonna Come' - Pilot Episode: *Megan's lines

"Everyone has to change eventually, right? Well, maybe not everybody. When the world is thrown into its' first siege, Megan has to decide for herself whether she should adapt to this 'new world,' or rebel against it. There isn't very much time, and Megan is running out of second chances. If she succeeds, her friends and family will be freed. If she fails, she, and a boy named Nicholas will be forced into a permanent change, and will become slaves to the Changeling King."

What this project is about...
This whole project is actually based on a dream that I once had. *Surprise! I have a dream journal that I keep right next to my bed. That way, if I wake up during a dream, I can write it down and make it into a story. There was so much to write down though, that words turned into sentences. Sentences turned into paragraphs. Paragraphs turned into pages, and on, and on, and on...
This story holds a special key to my heart. But I've kept it a secret for far too long. Now, I'm ready to unlock it's secrets and share it with you!

How it will work...
This story has multiple POV's. Megan, the Changeling King, Nicholas, Megan's Mother, you name it! We will need each individual POV character to narrate their own part of the story. For now, (this being the pilot episode and what not) we'll have only a few characters featured in the actual pilot video. We will be adding in more characters later as the story goes along.

Each chapter will be uploaded to my YouTube Account- Meggie-Elise audiobooks.

Cast members will be required to narrate their character's scenes, so when you audition make sure you read the entire excerpt, not just the dialogue.

Rules

1. Use a clear voice, varying your pitch and tone according to what is happening in the story.

2. Ensure that pets and other distractions are not going to interfere with the recording. No background noises!

3. Avoid mouth noises i.e. clicks or anything that sounds like your chewing gum. I've seen it in professionally made audiobooks- thanks, Audible- and it's the worst.

4. Record somewhere quiet to minimize background noise. A decent recording mic will help with this, and knowing how to use noise reduction effects in sound editing programs such as Audacity will also be useful.

5. Use a decent mic. I hate having to reject people because there are loud popping and crackling noises in their recording or the speaker is inaudible, so please avoid this.

6. Edit out any mistakes. It's a tedious process, I know. The odd mistake is okay, but the more you can edit these out the better. I find the easiest way to deal with these is to stop the recording when you make a mistake, cut the last bit of audio to remove the error, and then redo that bit of the recording. It's tedious, I know, but it makes for a better recording.

Alright, now that you've finished reading through all of the requirements in the description box, you may begin your audition(s) at once. I wish you luck!

*Pictures will be added in momentarily. Thank you for staying patient.
