A white belt since the beginning of time, he's tried continuously to be the best at what he does. Only in 2013, did he start doing decent amateur work- what with the release of "Attack on Space" an audioplay about Attack on Titan, and his work in the Homestuck fandom doing amateur song parody.

In 2017, Tyler Schmauch was cast and part of a role in Yu-Gi-Oh: Darkside of Dimensions, and met several talents that mentored him and gave him advice for his professional future.

Now he voice acts as a hobby, using his range to help any who need it and promotes Courtney Meeker: The voice of Ranch in Masako X's "Dragonball R&R", in any of her voice acting endeavors.
