Smash Bros. (Brawl) machinimator formerly known as the TheSmashTeam but there's no more team so now I just got by my usual nickname dRage. Been doing Brawl machinima on and off since 2008, my first major project Soul Brawl unfortunately tanked after a pretty good start. The project was probably too ambitious to be realized in machinima form at that time anyway. In 2015 I finally got around to learning After Effects and thanks to that I felt ready to tackle an idea I had for a long time: a heavily DBZ-inspired Smash machinima. It always seemed impossible due to the engine's limitations. But Brawl modding has advanced significantly since 2008 and I picked up a few tricks along the way. With the ability to import models from other games and to create custom animations along with the world of VFX opened up by After Effects I can now actually realize this project without sacrificing anything to engine limitations.

Editing is still just a hobby, one that I don't intend to pursue as a career for a few reasons (currently pursuing an academic career being the biggest) but one that I take very seriously. I'm also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things I create, be it a scientific paper or a machinima, so my videos tend to take a while to produce. That's why I usually only release one episode per year.
