About bedtime story broadcast

My name is Crystal Genduso and I am producing a children's public access show, called Bedtime Story. It was recently approved to air on RadioFairfax. It was originally conceived of to provide children, particularly ones who are blind, dyslexic, or whose parents are likewise disabled or illiterate, w/a bedtime story, but we believe everyone of all ages will enjoy the show. It features unadulterated fairy/folktales. These bear little resemblance to the sanitized Disney versions of today. A narrator reads them aloud to listeners, like an audiobook.

Since its inception, the concept of Bedtime Story Broadcast has evolved to also provide creative people of all types and ages w/an audience w/which to showcase their talents. Together, we can come up w/opportunities for actors, animators, composers, graphic artists, illustrators, musicians, singers, writers, etc. Every aspect of this show is crowd sourced. The level of involvement is up to the individual. You do not need to live anywhere near Virginia to volunteer. Pro tip: This experience is one way you can stand out from the rest of the stack of college and job applicants.

There is a looong list of things to do before we can begin to air. Atm, I am managing most of it on my own. If you have more time to contribute, I could use reliable help in the following capacities:

- Audio editors/engineers

- Casting Director

- Marketing Director

- Production assistants

- Social media mavens

- Talent recruiters

- Voice Actors

RadioFairfax is cablecast via Fairfax Public Access (FPS). Subscribers to Comcast, Cox, or Verizon Fios in Fairfax County and Falls Church, VA can tune in to the station via channel 37.
