I started doing some VA work in 2017, playing Yoshiko Tsushima in Sunshine Story Dubs (a project I created with some friends covering Love Live! Sunshine!! songs) and doing a little bit of VA work as Yuri from Doki Doki Literature Club in a little group called Doki Doki Music Club in 2018, but the project didn't really get anywhere.

I want to get serious about being a voice actor, and more generally, an actress. I have been getting involved in theater work at my school, like taking a theater class where the class would focus on basics like staying in character and memorizing scripts, while acting out scenes from famous musicals, or in some cases, movies. (I played a female Damien from Mean Girls once, lol)

On top of that, I auditioned for my school's production of Beauty and The Beast. I didn't get in, but it was a really good experience that helped me get out of my shell a bit. I also used that failure as an opportunity to study how the theater works and how an actor does things, going behind the scenes as a member of the stage crew and working the lights.

Needless to say, I'm ready to step out there and really get committed to acting. Voice acting is so fun and so fulfilling. I may be an amateur at this sort of thing, but I want to get as much experience as I can and really learn and grow in this field. I'm willing to try just about anything to really branch out from my comfort zone.
