Steven Garnett - RedFoxVoice

Proudly from Yorkshire in the north of England, past work teaching primary school children provided many opportunities to entertain using little more than my voice and I took much pleasure in holding the attention of a class with a story, adapting to ages from 3 to 13. Feedback from staff assured me that I had a talent for reading out aloud and I began recording amateur projects at home to share among a growing number of family, friends and other acquaintances to see whether my style would appeal to an adult market. 

3 years ago I started a YouTube channel to gain exposure and to act as a platform for practice and critique. Now with nearly 30,000 subscribers on YouTube ('Steven Red Fox Garnett') and 300 paying patrons supporting my work through Patreon, I really have been blown away by the wonderful feedback and praise from my listeners! "Fox Fans" have since founded affiliated communities on Facebook and Discord with relatively small but extremely loyal and engaged followings. I also have considerable experience livestreaming on both YouTube and Twitch where I engage with viewers and perform live from public domain works such as 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', 'Sherlock Holmes', 'The Secret Garden', 'Pride & Prejudice' and many more!

After much appreciation and encouragement I began engaging in professional projects on fiverr and Upwork; with increasing experience and confidence I started to advertise on ACX, quickly receiving a number of offers to audition. I now have 3 professional audiobooks available for purchase on Audible and iTunes with a couple of projects in the works - It really is a dream come true! However, I am always looking to expand my horizons and seek new challenges. 

With my narration I aim to truly bring the words to life, entertain, enthrall and compliment the reader's imagination. I love to experiment with different voice styles and accents to give each character a unique sound, which when coupled with a passionate and engaging style helps to bring the words to life and absorb the listener. I am a true perfectionist so expect excruciatingly precise editing and a polished, professional finish. Perhaps it goes without saying, but I wholeheartedly believe that I have a great deal to offer in the thriving world of narration, voice acting and audiobook production.
