About

Experience

I first became interested in voice acting as a teacher. I would make

up stories and tell them to the children based off of their suggestions.

I would create characters and voices to go along with the stories;

it was the most satisfying job I’ve ever had. When I found out I could

do something similar for a career, I jumped at the chance.

Background

For the last 3 years I worked as the Marketing Director for a home

restoration company in Orlando, Florida. I would write copy and

design marketing materials, work with homeowners and insurance

companies, put on presentations about my teams progress and

teach my team how to sell, as well as being the face to the media.

Before moving into the Marketing Director position, I broke each of

the company’s sales records as a salesmen; I attribute those

successes to my thorough documentation and customer service

skills. I have worked in sales, customer service or teaching my entire

professional career.

Public Speaking & Theater

For over twenty years I have trained as an actor, specializing in

improvisation. I have visited venues all across the country reading

my poetry, excerpts from my novel, and doing stand up comedy.

Most recently, I performed at SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando in front

of a sold out crowd, and then at Jet City Improv in Seattle. My troupe

and I currently meet weekly as we prepare for our upcoming shows.

Needless to say, I have always felt very comfortable performing and

being in the spotlight.

Pricing

There really isn't a typical pricing. What I can say is that my minimum charge is $50, which includes multiple formats if needed (wav, mp3, etc.), and up to 2 full revisions. Revisions beyond the first 2 will be an additional charge, typically about a 1/4 the cost of the job. As a writer with marketing experience, I can also do minor script corrections if needed, to ensure that the copy is easy to understand and is pleasing to listen to; this is at no extra charge, unless it starts to become extensive, but we will communicate about all changes and possible charges as they come up. The best thing to do is to understand your budget and what you have in mind for the project, then discuss it together via Skype or phone call to get on the same page. The clearer the vision we both have on the project, the less likely there will be for revisions and the faster your project will be completed.

Testimonials

"I had a chance to work with Shriane on a Voice Over project for an event video. I am very satisfied with his work. He took the initiative to thoroughly examined the script, fixed all the grammar errors and made suggestions to make the read more fluent before starting the recording process. He also went extra miles to make sure all the Chinese names in the script were pronounced correctly. He's fast in response, communication with him is effortless. He's a true professional and I will definitely think of him for our next project."
