Hello there! My name's Arizona Jonson. I'm a voice actor, writer, sound engineer, video editor, and composer from Washington State. I have a medium-to-high range voice (e.g. mezzo-alto) and tend to voice no-nonsense captains (lower range) or oblivious "girly" characters (higher range), but of course I'm open to any role you think I'd fit.
- I currently play cheery, unhelpful AI Tala on sci-fi/horror podcast Dining in the Void. I also lend my voice for the intro/credits depending on the episode, co-wrote episodes 4-12 and solo-wrote the interim, oversee production, and manage the show's website. (Although uncredited, I also play the Mysterious Voice in episode 5 and the Monster in episode 11.)
- I lent my voice to an SVA thesis film called Got Your Goat!
- I play Elise in the gay fantasy romance podcast Interference.
- I played timid guard Ovus on the limited-run comedy podcast Project Ozma. I appear in Episodes 16 and 20.
- I played intrepid reporter Emilia Whitehall in Season 1 of The Glass Appeal, from the network behind Empty.
- I guest-starred on episode 14 of paranormal mystery podcast Violet Beach.
I'm a Lead Writer and Voice Actor with the Goose Thunder Podcasting Network, who produce audio dramas such as Project Ozma and The Lavender Ladies. I'm currently developing a sci-fi podcast called Meleager's Four about the Meleager and its ragtag crew (accidentally) getting into danger, produced by Herbarium Podcasts.
As an artist, I aim to create accessible, moving, and diverse art that provides opportunities for disadvantaged or marginalized creators and artists. I push diversity not to sell products, but to show others like me (or those who have different, tougher struggles) that storytelling can set you free.
