Hi, I'm Wren! I am the host of "The Edge of the Universe" on Sonic Scout Radio, a place where I showcase dreamy and relaxing tunes exclusively by indie artists. I love crafting unique and soothing soundscapes, whether in my show, through commercials, or podcast or anything in between. I have a background in radio, voiceover, acting and audio production. I went to school for acting a radio broadcasting and love trying my hand at all things creative. My passion lies in narration, podcasts and making advertisement spots. In my free time, you can find me listening to lofi, making crafts or brewing another cup of coffee.
I attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy for musical theatre acting, and Appalachian State University for Broadcasting. I have 9+ years of audio editing and voice over experience, 14+ years of acting experience, and 26+ years of singing experience.
I studied acting, singing and dancing, engaging in extensive lessons geared at creating artistic professionals.
While starting out in journalism, I quickly fell in love with radio when I had the opportunity to DJ for a late night shift. From there, I went on to become the production director of the campus radio station, branching into news, music traffic and scheduling. I was able to learn how to video edit, make animation and film as well.
I'm looking for projects of all natures where I can engage in exciting stories, characters and soundscapes. I'm always done to attribute with my editing skills, and collaborate to ensure an inviting and engaging final product.
