(Dark, original, psychotic and gleefully sounding) This iconic character need no introduction. The Joker is a ruthless, psychopathic trickster, and is Batman's arch nemesis. This version of the character is meant to scare the living hell out of the audience.
Range between psychopathic tension to comedic timing required. You could do you best Mark Hamill impression if you want, but I'd recommend doing something completely different and unique. Something daring and completely out there.

  • (Introducing a crying, handcuffed hospital worker to Batman in a mocking fashion)
    Say hello to Pearl... Such a crybaby isn't she? Pearl is just nineteen years old. She just started work in the kitchens here to earn some extra money.

  • Joker laughter (Try many different variations)

  • Enjoy yourself out there. In the asylum. Just don’t forget - if it ever gets too tough. There’s always a place for you here.

I'm just another VA listening to your part, but I just have to say that I LOVE the hybrid Brittish/American accent that you gave this part! The laughs aren't bad either. Good work.
