Loose Canon
epetersonvo for Vahaadi
The character is a malevolent djinni with a reputation for tricking his masters into making disastrous wishes. I imagine him having a medium-low voice with bit of a husky, whsipery quality. He tends to choose his words carefully, so he sounds contemplative, guarded, and he frequently pauses or lets his words trail/linger.
Said in a calm, self-congratulating way: “Victory, beauty, power—new garments,
even—all are wishes I have granted before...But never in
a combination quite like this.”Said with impatience: “I cannot harm my mistress. My contract restrains me. If you want her dead, you’re on your own.”
Said at first with a courteous manner, but the second part (after the "...") should sound cross: “You’ll have to forgive my
manners. I’ve been living alone in a dark pit for…gods only know how long.”
Haha, this is such a treat to listen to! It kind of gives me a Jafar vibe. Cool and slimy and villainous—brilliant! I don't think it's a good fit for Vahaadi, but I have another role I'd be interested in hiring you for, if you're interested!
