Nixus

Hi, yeah. I’m a dark artist. My stuff’s pretty crude, might even make you uncomfortable if you look at it too long. It kinda teeters on the edge of uncanny—like something your brain recognizes as wrong but can’t stop looking at. That’s the sweet spot. That’s where I live. It’s like if your childhood cartoons got possessed and started glitching out emotionally.

I work on a comic called Hooligans, which is basically just a parade of chaos wearing a trench coat, and I’m also making an animated show called PDTE. It’s going to be absolutely unhinged in the best way possible, like if someone gave an animation degree to a haunted Furby and a bucket of paint thinner.

My style’s got some DNA from VivziePop’s explosive energy, Jamie Hewlett’s punk-rock brainworms, and Zeddizi’s uncanny beauty. It’s a lot. Sometimes it looks like I drew it while fighting off a sleep paralysis demon—and sometimes I probably was.

I know the art looks like it crawled out of a funhouse mirror and asked you for a cigarette, but I’m actually a pretty chill guy. I just like to draw weird stuff, laugh at dumb ideas, and make characters that look like they’ve seen the end of the universe and decided to start a band about it.

Also, I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community—so if you ever wonder why half my characters look like they walked out of a goth pride parade, that’s why. Love is love, baby. Even if it's between a genderfluid vending machine and a sentient shadow creature.

Anyway, I make freaky little guys. And I’m not stopping anytime soon.
