The character likes to be theatrical and at the center of attention, even while he’s being dismissed or in a losing position. He will embellish anything he says with metaphors, and when embarrassed, he can’t keep his mouth shut - he keeps on stuttering and snapping back.

Don't sell yourself short and expose you don't know something. They may have not focused on the accent as much until they read your comment and then they will most likely pick it apart.
