He is a confident man who believes he has a responsibility to devote himself to his country, his people, and his responsibility as a prince above his own personal life. Even as he struggles to cope with the tragedies befalling his personal life, he knows others count on him as a symbol of hope and reassurance and always puts their reliance upon him first instead of focusing on his own pain. Marth has a deep desire to help and save as many people as he can and will give his all to ensure this, but is nonetheless a pragmatist in his approach and accepts the hard decisions. With so many losses in his life, he refused to allow his own grief to interfere with inspiring hope in his subjects.
