Haruka Hirano [HA-roo-kuh he-RAH-no [not He-RAW-no]] is a wise and inspirational girl. She often makes motivational and poetic speeches in an attempt to rally her friends. She always speaks very eloquently and her knowledge of many things shines through often. She is not necessarily book-smart, but she has a lot of world experience.
For Haruka, we are looking for a high-pitched, breathy voice. Her voice should be smooth and soft with great diction. She occasionally speaks things in rhythm, like she is reciting verse.
Feel free to improvise some trial lines :) [or if you have a favorite short poem, feel free to read that in her voice!]
[Spoken fairly rhythmically and whimsically] "Hmmmmmm, no, that's not the right word. Oh...! I am so sorry, I didn't notice you. I was a bit lost in thought. The scenery gave me an idea for a poem. Did you ask for my name? It's Haruka Hirano. You may have assumed, but I am the Ultimate Poet."
[The beginning should be spoken in iambic pentameter] "You all have been so kind to me thus far, I rea- hey...! That was iambic pentameter! Nice! ... oh, sorry, right, as I was saying before I interrupted myself, your kindness has spurred me to write a poem.
[Full of emotion] "Pl...please... cease this! I don't want to hear anymore. This is all too brutal and cruel. We never wanted a killing game!"
