Please see the audio/auditioning rules at the top before auditioning. Sonic's older brother. He has a sassy attitude and he's a thief (lol heh). He seems unimpressed and uninterested in what's going on, until he decides to 'save' Sonic from Amy by bidding on him with his chaos emerald--except someone had already stolen his emerald... right out of his hand when he wasn't paying attention! Voice should generally be how he sounded in Underground, with the "slacker" type sound to it, though I will be requiring pretty good emoting since he gets rather mad at times. (leaning back in a chair, bored, slacker tone, responding to Sonia who's clucking at him)) Sonic alone is gonna bring in all the money you need. Besides... (he holds a chaos emerald out) I think I've already made my contribution...
(standing up, holding hand upward triumphantly) I bid one CHAOS EMERALD!
I think this sound you have going on works better in this instance for Manic. But, I do want more punch to the emoting, especially for the I BID ONE CHAOS EMERALD! line. Yours was considerably too tame. And you did slur a little bit, so watch out for that. Can you submit a second audition for Manic with this tone/pitch you did on the lines, and then another take with a slightly lower pitch, but the rest the same? And really punch the emoting on the emerald lines? I'd really appreciate it.
