A Cautus combatant from RIM Billiton and the childhood friend as well as the bodyguard of Leonhardt, the eccentric and strict, but taciturn and determined Ayerscarpe follows him as he works for Rhodes Island, lending his expertise in pathfinding, reconnaissance, and combat escort using various equipment obtained from the black market in form of an experimental Rhine Lab "taser sword", a handgun-like weapon, and small daggers floating around him that he throws at enemies.
