I would like the narrator to be a good mixture of emotional and calm. Be in the moment of the scene, but don't steal the light away from the dialogue. If you are in a character's head, then by all means put your good acting to work.

  • Early in the seeping morning, the light shone upon the household of the Siren’s. They were not magical by any means, despite what their family name might suggest. They also weren’t much of a family, unless a begrudged daughter taking care of her sick mother counted as one. Such a beautiful morning seemed unfitting for the daughter, Rouge’s, mood.
