Mr. Gabriel is Sophia's History professor and acts as the mentor for our characters. He is a very laid back but confident individual and he values context/ attention to detail very highly.
Im looking for a deepish laid back voice for this one. Think of the guy who could be a stereotypical stoner but doesnt smoke. Hes cool, calm and collected.
(Speaking to the class) [Chill/ Confident] "Alright! Its presentation day! A few weeks ago you chose random moments in time to research and put together a presentation for. Who will go first?................. Eenie-Meenie-Minie, Sophia thanks so much for volunteering. Get up here and give us what you got."
(Facing danger)[Accepting/Confident] "Look son, I have never knelt before any man and I never plan to. Do what you'd like, but know that you are no more righteous than I am"
"Do not overlook the context. These people have been mislead and now are being used as pawns. They are not our enemy, the people pulling the strings are"
Hey thanks so much for the audition. You sound really nice in this take but I was wondering if you could do something for me. Could you give the 2nd line another go and this time give me a little more Umph like youre puffing out your chest and declaring your lack of fear in that moment.
