Furvus, shouldn't have too much emotion behind her words for the most part, though she can have some grit/viciousness. It's like she's constantly jabbing you in the ribs, but she's being so apathetic about it, it's almost like that lack of emotion adds more salt to the wound, like she looks so far down upon everyone, they are insignificant. (I guess one way to think about Furvus is rather Third Reich, very strict and formal)
“Boy, you know what to do.”
“Until your heart is in my hands, I will rip the still beating heart out of each an every one of your relations, starting with these four.”
“Oh, but you must. The lives of your companions depend upon it.”
(narration) “What was this havoc that had crawled into and wrecked my kingdom’s tranquility? How could my guards and servants be so easily fooled by this childish ruse? Such imbeciles. All who had a hand would be punished.”
“What is the matter boy? Have you developed some sort of stu-stu-stuttering problem?
(narration) “The way my father taught me was very valuable. When you see something pure, take hold of it and crush with your own bare hands. Then you continue to desecrate what is left until the point that they are not sure whether to turn on you and do they same as what you have done to them or to heed every word you say.”
I appreciate you checking out the role as I asked! Still love your voice, but I think I'm leaning toward Darleané. I guess there was more of an emotional humane and even sultry sound in this than I expected for Furvus, as she tends to be this emotionless blackhole of bitter and spite. Don't sweat it on the stuttering bit, she was making fun of someone, so she's supposed to not sound like she has a real stutter. Thank you so much, once again!
