Background: Unlike her on screen counterpart, Mami is not a magical girl. In fact she is a college student who is a senior in film studies. She aspires to be a filmmaker and is good friends with Regina George. Mami serves as a minor antagonist in Burning the Pages.

I mainly use Final Cut Pro to edit, but I’m also trained in Adobe Premiere. I’ve been working on video editing for five...maybe six years now. I had a few gigs, though nothing long term. Would you like me to show you a piece I’m currently working on?
(The person who is interviewing her stops her while she is talking and asks her for her name one more time. Mami sounds laid back but also professional) It's Mami. And no worries, I’m pretty bad with names too. (giggles) Now would you like me to show you the video?
(The person holding the interview steps out in the middle of the conversation he was having with Mami. Regina, Mami's friends, was in the room the whole time. Mami asks Regina in an uncomfortable half-whisper) I thought you said he was professional.
