Background: This is NOT the Danyerus Targaryen you know and love. In this universe, Dany is the child of the former Ringleader of the Digital Circus mythos. Her mother had committed suicide three years ago. While Edgelordess is the new ringleader, Dany still helps contribute to production of various Digital Circus series as a video editor. Pein is the in-universe director of the show who serves as the major antagonist of the Burning the Pages meta-narritive, who is cold and sadistic. Since the death of Dany's mother, Pein has tried to get rid of Dany on all accounts possible, but its thanks to Dany's gaurdian, Lara that she remains on the production team.

(Her boss asks her if she is interested in a job, as Dany is just an intern. She is upbeat and chipper) Sure, what is it?
(she is sobbing after her ruthless boss has fired her. She sits in a corner outside the office curled up into a ball as she has an internal monologue) Mom...Pein is more ruthless than ever. I knew he was a bit mean at first, now that I’m much older I am starting to realize how evil he is. I wish you were still around. I miss my siblings too. I hate what this has become. I just...I just want to be happy again.
(A former, older collage named Regina starts harassing Dany after she got fired. The bully pinches at a nerve and Dany decides she is no longer having it. She says this in a cold voice) Regina...don’t forget…(Dany shoots a burst of flames from her eyes in front of Regina, which scares the living daylights out of her. Dany continues to sound cold) I’m a fucking Powerpuff Girl. You don’t wanna mess with me. That was just a warning flame, but next time I won’t be as gentle.
