Tom was born in 1887, took part in BOTH world wars, and is still very much alive today. This should not surprise anyone who understands Heroes. They effectively live forever. Tom has the power of slowing down time in a controlled manner. It requires focus and energy. At some point during WWII his right eye is gouged out by a Nazi Lieutenant. This only gave him a new more dangerous power, the Medusa's Eye. When his right 'eye' views something/one it is paralyzed in time for an indeterminate period of time. Its much harder to keep tamed so he wears his signature eyepatch.
He is an expert fencer and ambidextrous. The only thing he truly fears is his wife.
Tom's voice is that of someone from the 1920's East Coast. It doesn't crop up much but he uses words and phrases like 'doll' or 'bluenose'. Its almost like hes still that 20 something living in 1911 New York.
Geo: You had a good rest, yes?
Tom: As a man can while being rocked about like a rag doll. I have a mind to give the captain a talking. I think I lost my dinner out my window…
Geo: We should be in New York early tomorrow morning. Stay up with me and I'll keep your sea legs under you.
Tom: Y’know, before I left for this cruise to see you, my father told me I should have my formal wear cleaned. You wouldn't have anything to do with that would you?
Tom: While you, these soldiers, and Marie are drawing the German lines’ attention Riley, Geo, Alistair, and I can flank them and break their ranks.
Joseph and Marie pondered the plan for a moment.
Marie: It seems sound enough…
Joseph: Anyone dies and it's on you, Valentine.
Tom: As I have been made aware several times already. Now get set up and wait for the signal
Alistair: All this for a few hundred yards of mud!
Tom: Then go home! It's that way!
He pointed towards the German trenches. Alistair simply leered at Tom.
Tom: That's what I thought! Now get ready.
I like it. I like it. One thing. Be mindful of breathing.
Thank you very much, I'll remember to be more mindful of that.
Hey! I noticed there's a little bit of background noise. Audacity has a feature where you can do a noise reduction to basically completely remove any static or fan noise. Would recommend! Keep at it, buddy!
Thanks for the feedback, It really does help. I just got Audacity yesterday funnily enough. And i've taken background noise into account.
Haha, I'm glad! I use Audacity myself, and I felt like it might be useful information! Even if you don't use it. Good luck, my friend!
