Project Overview
Hello there!
My name's Box and I saw that there's not any voice acted versions of Omori quite yet! So, I thought it would be a good idea to make one!! I'd like to record for the good ending so too so it's just not all sad bahaha.
Omori is a Psychological Horror Storybased RPG, about a boy named Sunny and his alter ego Omori. They explore his dream world and the real world to be able to overcome loss and his hidden away fears and secrets.
SO! In order for the project to run smoothly please make sure that
1: You're 13+ due to the disturbing content in the game
2: You have a discord so we can all talk, hang out and record lines :)
(include your discord information in your audition description please)
3: If you're playing a main role please please please have enough time to dedicate to voice acting!
4: You have a decent quality mic. Quality is super important.
5: If you haven't finished the game yet then I highly suggest you do before getting it all spoiled :>
Note: I'll be slowly updating the roles over time, due to there being a lot of them. So don't worry if you didn't get casted for a main one, there's always more to come! :)

Hello everyone! First I wanna say thank you all who have auditioned! There's so many of you!!! It's insane!! Second, sorry if it takes a little bit to get back to you! I'm only one person trying to manage all the cast, editing and directing, so I'm a bit all over the place. It's hard, but it's honestly so worth it. The cast so far is absolutely phenomenal. Third, the project is moving along swimmingly! We're hoping to have episode 1 out within the next two weeks!!! I'll let you know when it's up/almost done! :0 -

Van/Vance is Kim/Berly's brother. In the Dream world, he's very nice and he watches over the other kids in the playground. He just wants to make sure Berly is happy, and that's what matters most to him. In the real world he's pretty much the same, going along with whatever Kim wants and is very protective of her and the people he cares about.

Omori/Sunny is the narrator of this entire game.
Please try and be able to do a younger/older type of voice depending on which person it is. Sunny would be older meaning around 16 and Omori would be younger being around 12.
He is monotone, expressionless, quiet and doesn't talk very much outside of the little descriptions you will read throughout the game.
And I'm thinking of switching the POV of the narration box to first person rather than second person, so you are pretty much narrating the game.

Aubrey in the dream world is very cheerful, sassy and emotional. Emotional more so when Basil goes missing, but with a little hope and convincing she'll be right back to her cheery self. She is often seen bickering with Kel.
In the real world Aubrey is violent, temperamental and unstable. Crying and yelling is quite frequent up until the end, when she becomes less mean, more understanding and civil.

Kel is super competitive, loving to win the smallest of games. He loves annoying his friends, but it's out of love. He's also very loud and childish, getting into fights with Aubrey.
In the real world Kel is still pretty competitive, but he's a lot more mature and calm than he is in the dream world. In both worlds he really cares for his friends and is protective of them.

However he is one of the older characters in this game, so older meaning around 19 and younger being around 15.
Hero is the peacemaker within this friend group. He'll try his best to stop Kel and Aubrey when they butt heads. He's very charismatic, kind and just overall the big brother of the group. Both in the real world and the dream world. He's a people pleaser, so he finds it hard to say no to anyone and he loves cooking, cleaning and everything in between.
When in the real world though, there's this unclosed sadness to him almost. He seems a lot quieter ever since Mari passed.
