What is this project?
Hey! I’m water. I’m the creator, director, writer, and artist of the Danganronpa Fan project “Forever Danganronpa: Ultimate Order”. Ultimate Order follows the overall structure and premise of the mainline Danganronpa Video Games, but with an original cast and story. We are aiming to be a Full fledged video series project with five chapters, a prologue and an epilogue.

Where is the project currently at?
In terms of writing, we have the full story outlined. At the moment, the chapter two daily life script is complete, so any VA’s will have lines to record as soon as they are selected. For those curious about art assets, we have all of the neutral sprites completed as of creating this casting call. We are still working on the remaining sprites for chapter one’s release.
What will be expected of Voice Actors/Auditions?
Voice actors will be chosen based on a few factors that I find important when reviewing auditions.
-Voice actors must be in possession of a decent quality microphone, and must have little to no background noise in their recordings.
-voice actors must have the appropriate vocal range to match the character they have chosen to audition for.
I will do my best to avoid dual casting, because its more work for both the actor and the director, and I’m not in the market to make everyone’s life more difficult. I will also be picking the voice actors/actresses based on how well they match the character, so don’t be discouraged if you don’t get picked! I encourage everyone to audition for as many roles as you’d feel comfortable with, so that it enhances your chances of being selected.
Upon being cast, voice actors/actresses will be invited to a discord staff server, so It is mandatory that you include your discord username alongside your audition, otherwise you will not be selected regardless of the other factors. Most of the communication will be over the staff discord server, and we will have weekly meetings to discuss the status of our work as we go.
Alongside all of that, and this is obvious, but please do not leak spoilers should you be cast!
This is a non-profit fan video series project, so all roles are not paid. Thanks for understanding, and good luck!

Haruna Tsuji is the protagonist of this project, and as such she will have a significant amount of lines spoken. She is pensive, independent, and stoic, and as such she will often prefer to remain on the quieter side. Her voice is in the mid-range, with a thoughtful, calm tone unless otherwise stated. She may have an accent, but it is recommended that no accent is used when auditioning. She cannot remember her ultimate talent.
(Neutral, slightly humorous tone) My name is Haruna. You may refer to me by my surname, Tsuji, if you want to be formal. However, in a strange situation like this, I would understand if your priorities aren’t formalities.
(Lost in thought) No. No, I do not recall my talent. Unfortunately that seems to have been lost along with my memories...
(Lost in thought, then becoming accusatory) The culprit must have hidden... but if that’s the case.... It could only be *you!*
Everything about Annaisha is selfless and kind. With a name that literally means Helpful guide, Annaisha is a calming, soft spoken woman. Annaisha will rarely ever raise her voice, however she still expresses a reasonably large range of emotions. Her voice is higher in range, but should still sound mature and calm. She is the ultimate volunteer.
(Serene, reassuring tone) Why yes, my name is Annaisha Eto, I am known to others as the ultimate volunteer. If you ever require any assistance, you can be sure that I will lend a helping hand.
(Thoughtful, becoming serious) Ah, hm... Well, it seems that one may only kill to escape. Believe me, it will only lead to regret.
(Determined, but still reassuringly calm) Listen, I know we can band together and leave this killing game.. it’s in our nature as humans to be free! You just have to trust me, okay? I’m here to help.
Kenshin is a cold man who generally strays away from the rest of the group. His voice is bitter and brooding, and his range is between mid and low. He usually carries an aura of bitterness in his voice, however he also can be condescending. He is the ultimate ringleader.
(Sharp, antisocial tone.) It’s Kenshin Nakatani. Ultimate ringleader. I’ll talk to you more when you have something useful to say.
(Condescending tone) I suppose little old Haruna can’t figure out the culprit, huh? Look here, kid, the evidence is right in your face, so don’t get us killed, got it?
(Deadpan sarcasm) Well it appears another one of us is dead. How *terribly* ironic and unexpected.
Tomo is a cranky, wizecracking senior citizen. Her voice is gravely and low, showcasing her years of experience in the real world. She should be quite expressive, but still retaining the withered, old sound to her voice. She is low range, you may take liberties with your elderly impressions, as I acknowledge not many danganronpa fans are in their sixties. She is the ultimate war re-enactor.
(Irritable) It’s Tomo to you, ya whipper-snapper! Keep up that attitude and I’ll whipper *snap* you into shape!
(Calmer, retaining a little sassy edge) My name is Tomo Kusunoki. Folks say I’m the ultimate War-Re-Enactor. Keep that in mind for later, ehmkay? I have a feeling I’m not the only one here who’s forgetful...
(Irritated) Alright who keeps using all the clean pans?! I’m trying to cook meals in the morning and I always have to wash one!
Chad is a loud, dumb, brash “manly-dude” with a fascination for fitness. He uses his superior fitness to market himself as some sort of all knowing nutrition god, when in reality, it’s all a pyramid scheme. (Hence his surname being a pun about money.) His voice is loud and deep, but he tries to speak formally... through the filter of a college fraternity jock. Occasionally, his formal attitude will slip, usually when he’s frightened or drunk. When voicing him, don’t forget his dude-bro voice and attitude. It should remain in all of his lines, even if just subtly. He is the ultimate fitness guru.
(Faking a formal attitude enthusiastically) How would you like to take hold of your own financial empire? By soliciting my special CHAD brand protein shakes, you can do just that! You can *be* the master of your own destiny!
(Formal attitude slipping. Slightly defensive, becoming enthusiastic) Don’t knock it till you try it! It’s not a pyramid *scheme* per se, think of it more as like, a funnel of money, but most of it reaches me!
(Completely informal, horrified and angry. Very loud. ) WH-WH-WHOAH WHOAH WHOAH!!!! DUDE THAT’S NOT FUCKING C-COOL!! N-noone’s gonna “part-take” in some dumbass, weaksauce, DUMBASS-WEAKSAUCE KILLING G-GAME!!
Having grown up under the limelight, Shigeko may come off as a typical airhead, primarily in her voice. However, there’s more to her than meets the eye, as she has a kinder side to her personality. Her voice is on the middle to high end of the spectrum. She grew up in countries all over the world, however she spent a majority of her time in Europe, resulting in an english accent. She is the ultimate television personality.
(Slightly embarrassed, speaking matter-of-factly) Yeah, I’m a tad under dressed for the situation, I totes get it! The problem is, you just never know when you’re gonna get kidnapped, y’know?
(Defensive, becoming determined.) Woah, we’re not idiots! I trust that each of us has the skills to break us out of here. I believe in us.
(Horrified) W-what did you s-say...? A k-k-killing game? There’s no way I can get to a tailor in here!!!!
Takumi is a logical man with a kind heart, although he can be a bit timid, he still tries to do what he feels is right at all times. His voice is what could be considered “average”, as it falls directly in the mid range for males. He is the ultimate toymaker.
(Calm and enthusiastic) Hello, all. It’s good to see things are running fairly smoothly!
(Becoming increasingly more and more worried) I just worry for our safety as a group after this revelation... If this information falls into the wrong hands, who *knows* what could happen?! Someone could kill someone! Or WORSE!!
(Humorous tone) you can call me the ultimate toymaker! Heh, But maybe “ultimate craftsman” sounds cooler.
**Hideki has an androgynous voice, allowing both male and females to apply for his role.
Hideki is very catty, generally, he can be seen as rude, however he believes himself to be the messiah of modern casting calls. His voice is just on the cusp of being mid range but is a tad too high. He is the ultimate judge panelist.
(Beaming, then catty) Wonderful! Splendid! Chef’s Kiss! *mwah mwah mwah*!

Etsuko is a bubbly nineteen year old girl, with a ton of energy to boot, and her voice should reflect this! Don’t be afraid to go all out, as Etsuko certainly does often. When happy, she generally speaks in a singsong voice, as if she were talking along to some imaginary music. She is the ultimate dancer, so make sure to put some pep in her step! Her range is medium to high. I will be willing to accept medium range auditions if you can sell Your performance of her character
(Energetic, in a singsong voice, then, becoming disoriented) Say it with me! Step to the right! Step to the left! Jump up jump down and—!!! Whoah... I’m a little dizzy, hehe!
(Disappointed) Aw, don’t be *boring*! C’mon, dance with me!
(In a singsong voice, very peppy) Wha wha wha? Is that a song I hear? And does it have a *groovy* tune? Alriiiight! Come on everyone! Let’s dance!
Seishiro is a man with some unclear origins, but kind nonetheless. He generally cares about the wellbeing of other people more than himself, and will willingly make sacrifices for others. His voice is between mid to low range, and is very clear. He is the ultimate martial artist, which is ironic due to his skinny build, however, he claims that it is due to him (for whatever reason) refusing to use his abilities, and as such, he has grown rusty.
(Calm) Ah, greetings. I am Seishiro Kamiyama, the ultimate martial artist. I hope in the future we can become better acquainted, but for now this introduction is the best I can do.
(Calm, then stern) No, I’m sorry, I don’t know how to fight very well any more. I am refusing to use my talent to protect those around me. Unless you’d like to *change* that, I encourage you to drop it.
(Happy, calm) Please, don’t thank me, i was just doing my job!
Nobuyuki is incredibly talented, however he is also incredibly self conscious, and it should be obvious from the way he sounds. Nobuyuki shares his music with the world in order to make people happy! However, he refuses to perform live, often streaming his music through music services. His voice has a timid aura to it, however the slight timidity should remain in all aspects of conversation with him. He often laughs nervously as a coping mechanism for awkward situations, because he thinks it will make him appear “cooler”, when in reality it only cements him as antisocial. Ironically, Nobuyuki is the ultimate vocalist.
(Timid but humorous tone) Ahaha... it’s simple really, I just don’t feel comfortable singing in front of people! I know, it’s super ironic for *the* ultimate vocalist, huh?
O-Oh, yikes, ahaha... I’m sorry if you feel that way! I erm.. d-didn’t mean to offend you! Ahaha...
(Gradually becoming more and more horrified) K-killing game? Is this a joke? Ahaha... v-very funny...! Y-y-you can c-c-come out now!!!
Hiroshi is coy and sarcastic, often saying ridiculous things as a joke, only making himself laugh in the process. Otherwise, he tries to show a more serious side to his personality, however his earnest attempts to make things better may often be misinterpreted as another Practical joke. His voice is on the higher, lighter end of the spectrum, and he has a slightly high level of energy that should come naturally in his performance. He is the ultimate shopkeeper
(Enthusiastic, then frustrated)
We’ll solve this case in no time or I’m not the ultimate detective!

Monokuma is the mascot of this fan project and as such he will likely be around for quite a while. Please note that since he is an official character that has appeared in canon danganronpa, this role is for whoever can do the best *impression* of Monokuma.

Asuka is an extra reoccurring character who will appear many times throughout the very end of chapter one onwards. For plot reasons, that will be all the information publicly disclosed about them.
Asuka’s voice is young, in the mid to high end of the range spectrum. They’re very new to all of the stresses of the plot and as such they get stressed out easily. However, they also need to have the ability to be more somber or serious when the time calls.
(asuka is agender, and they use they/them pronouns <3 )
(Voice slightly shaken) “Hey, everyone.. I’m sorry to scare you like that! It’s just me.”
(Trying and failing to sound intimidating) “l-listen... you! I don’t know what you think you’re doing but you’re barking up the wrong tree! Or.. something...?”
