Danganronpa: No Vacancy
Project Overview
Hello, and welcome to Danganronpa: No Vacancy!
To simply put it, this is a fanmade Danganronpa game, although, if you've clicked on this, you probably already know that. Danganronpa: No Vacancy is set place inside of a run down hospital, but as the killing game progresses, our main cast of sixteen, will venture outside of said hospital, soon to be greeted with new relationships, new bonds, and lots and lots of death! Follow our protagonist, Ritsuki Jin, the Ultimate Lucky Student and her blood stained journey through the project that is Danganronpa: No Vacancy!
(DR:NV will not be an actual game. Instead, the killing game will be showcased as if it were a YouTube series of a game play of a Danganronpa game instead. A simulation of a game per say.)

As of right now, the script is still in progress and many things are still under way so voice acting roles aren't exactly as needed as much as team roles. They however, will be there, though don't expect casting for voice roles to happen any time soon.
Roles open at the moment (From most to least needed) are:
- Artists (Of all kinds - CG artists, background artists, sprite artists, etc.)
- Editors (Video editing)
- Writers (Script writers)
- Composers
- VA's (Not all of the VA roles have been added yet, but I will get to that as soon as possible.)

This fanganronpa will include many relatively similar discussed Danganronpa topics and themes so of course it will have some potentially triggering content such as death, mild gore, swearing, and other potentially triggering themes and discussion of such. Of course there will be trigger warnings beforehand, but remember to stay safe and just try and have a good time! Thank you!
Also, please join the discord server if you do decide to apply! Or if you don't and just wanna, that's cool too! All of the work and communication will be done through discord, so this is mandatory. Once again, thank you!

I unfortunately don’t have a great editing program, which is why I have created this role. This will be a YouTube series - unless I decide otherwise - so I would like the editing to imitate gameplay. Video editors will also have to edit voice clips and music in.

Please provide an example of your previous work! You should be able to recreate the Danganronpa style / imitate it for the most part. I will do a lot of the script writing, though editors and assistant writers would be very helpful. I also might task different script writers with different parts, i.e. FTE’s, bonus scenes, trials, etc. Script writers will also help with the development of the plot as a whole, like how trials will flow, the murders, motives, the executions, etc. This is the most important / needed role as of right now.

Please provide an example of your previous work! The music should be Danganronpa-esque for the most part. Composers aren’t really as needed right now, but you’re still free to audition as one! I would like to use a mainly original soundtrack for DR:NV, but if we don’t get enough auditions we can use a mixture of original work and DR soundtracks!

(RIT-SOO-KEY JIN)
Ritsuki is the protagonist of this fangan! She has a mid-tone voice, though slightly lower voices are acceptable too. She has a bright, confident voice, usually loud in nature.
She’s mostly sarcastic, and shows quite a bit of emotion in her voice when she speaks, though the same can’t be said about her personality. While Ritsuki has closed herself off from many people and is skeptical of most things, she’s confident and will do what she thinks is right!
“And guess who that lucky student was? [Mock excitement] Me. Out of every person they could’ve chosen, and it just had to be me. The only high school student — no, person, who *doesn’t* want to go to this supposedly oh so great place. [Exasperarion]”
“But anyhow, Ritsuki Jin at your service! [Confident] The, uh, Ultimate Lucky Student. ..Or something like that. [Awkward]”
”Wow, okay, ouch. [Mock offense] Whatever, let’s just go already if you wanna be such a jerk about it. [(Childishly) Annoyed]
(KEY-OH-KOO KNEE-WAH)
Kioku serves as your dutiful right hand man! He has a mid-tone to low voice. His voice is very quiet, and calm, most of the time remaining a serious tone, Think standoffish, socially awkward. teen boy.
Kioku appears cold and serious when in reality he just has a hard time with socializing. He's often sarcastic and tries to joke around but because of his quiet and always serious voice it often doesn't come off that way which can make people assume he's arrogant and rude.
"Kioku. Kioku Niwa. I’m the Ultimate Detective. [Serious]"
"You’d think Hell would be a lot dirtier with all the corpses running around, but this place is surprisingly pretty nice. [Sarcastic] ..For a cell. [Indifferent]"
"I know you’re not a detective, but it doesn’t take one to notice the elevator right there. [Poking fun at, playfully mocking]"
(HA-ROO-KEY OH-YAH-MAH)
Haruki has a voice on the higher end, though it is not necessarily high pitched. He's almost always got a cheery and innocent tone to his voice, even when talking about.. Strange things,
Haruki always has a happy nature when he speaks, despite half of what he says being pretty hard hitting stuff. He's seemingly constantly unbothered by his surroundings (Despite how bad things are) and by his general dark humor he uses in his day to day conversation. Though he never sounds all too serious about anything, maintaining a consistent, childlike, light tone.
"I’m afraid this is all just a silly misunderstanding! We weren’t captured at all, no, no! This is just the Hope’s Peak entrance exam, isn’t it? [Chipper, innocent]"
"I just woke up after all. It seems like the Hope’s Peak staff decided knocking me out and putting me in a dirty hallway was the way to go! [Unbothered, amused]"
"My name is Haruki Oyama, the Ultimate Ice Sculptor. It’s not a very impressive talent, but I hope I can prove myself to be useful too! [Determined, excited]
(AH-KEY-NAH 'AH-KEY' ME-NAH-ME)
Aki has a higher pitch voice that's normally very upbeat and loud! Though mid tone voices work as well.
Aki is not very bright, (And yet, she holds the title of Ultimate Engineer) and she isn't ashamed to admit it. Despite this though, she's very charismatic and always is determined to do her best. She gets excited over the smallest of things and has a hard time picking up on things at times, but dammit, she's trying.
"Akina Minami’s the name, the Ultimate Engineer! Don’t you forget it! Oh, but you can just call me Aki for short! [Upbeat, excited]"
"Being a robot is cool enough but being half human too? That’s even cooler!! [Amazed, in awe]"
"Nah, it’s alright, even *I* think I’m stupid, so it’s all good! [Glossing over, brushing aside, unbothered]"
(SAY-CHI AH-KEY-YAH-MAH)
Seiichi has a lower voice that is typically calm and polite.
Seiichi is always formal in his way of speech, opting to refer to people as Miss and Mister. He tries his best to always be nice to others and really, he just wants the best for everyone. He's a mediator of sorts, and with his enhanced limbs and parts he finds himself responsible for the safety and well-being of his peers.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all! Though I suppose the circumstances could be.. Better. Seiichi Akiyama, the Ultimate Cyborg. [Welcoming, polite]"
"I used to be fully human, however a few events occurred and.. That is why I am in my current state. [Troubled]"
"See! You really are amazing, Miss Minami, just like everyone else here. So no need to be mean to yourself. [Reassuring, comforting]"
(MON-OH-NEZ-OO)
Mononezu is one of the hosts of the killing game, taking the form of a small blue and white rat. He has a higher pitch voice that is nasally and squeaky. Mononezu tries his hardest to appear 'cool' and 'scary', though with his general goofy nature and comical voice, it's hard to take him seriously.
"D-Dangerous?? ..Man, that’s gotta be the best compliment I’ve gotten all day! You really think I’m that cool? [Prideful, bashful]"
"Are you kidding me?! I’m no mouse, I tell you, a rat is what I am, a rat! Mice.. They’re good for nothing house pets, [Offended] but *I’m* smart and diligent and cool and, and! [Prideful, cocky]"
"My name is Mononezu, I know, a fantastic name, really! [Boastful] My Ultimate talent is uh.. Being a rat, or something like that. Ultimate Rat. [Awkward, pondering]
