So I’ve been thinking, a dangerous pass time I know, and I will be opening a casting call for a new project of mine. There will be multiple chances to audition just in case more time is needed.
But Blue, what kind of project will this be?

An audiobook for the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare!
That’s right, a fully voiced audiobook about everyone’s favorite group of Shadowhunters!
I searched the internet and not one audiobook for this series has been done with actors. All the ones out there were simply narrated by one person through the entire series. That seems kinda boring don’t you think?
Now a project like this will require a lot of time, voice acting, editing, and most importantly, commitment. What would happen if we had to change actors in the middle of a book or the series? That wouldn’t sound too good.

First described as a boy with messy electric blue hair and eyes the color of antifreeze. Reader soon finds out that he is a demon.
Also throw in your best high yowl and gurgle sound as well as the lines.
Aw, come on. It's part of my costume. I'm a vampire hunter. It's fake. Foam rubber. See? (charming teen)
I don't know what you're talking about. (pained but surly)
(gasp) Valentine is back! (protesting) All the Infernal Worlds know it- I know it- I can tell you where he is- (sudden stop)
Described as a boy with brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses. Very nerdy.
Hoping for an average teenage boy voice. Nothing special, just average.
(snorts) You're kidding. Don't they have a computer there? You know what, don't answer that.
(frustrated/screaming/angry/hurt) I was trying to make you jealous! You're so stupid, Clary. You're so stupid, can't you see anything?
(trying to get Clary's attention) Meanwhile, I wanted to tell you that lately I've been cross-dressing. Also, I'm sleeping with your mom. I thought you should know.
Described as a teen girl with firey red hair and vibrant green eyes. Starts out quite timid and unsure, grows into a stronger character as the story progresses.
Looking for a strong, clear female voice. Someone able to easily play every part of Clary's personality.
(confused/objecting) But I wasn't thinking of here. I wasn't thinking of anywhere.
(screaming) Of course he didn't! (worried) What, you think he wants to get smashed under someone's car, killed by a cat-(interrupted)
(cold, unforgiving) You murdered your wife's parents, not in battle but in cold blood and I bet you murdered Michael Wayland and his little boy, too.
(giggling, pretending to be innocent) You're asking if I come here often?
(cheerful) These, for instance. The left one is electrum, which is poisonous to demons, and the right one is blessed iron, in case I run across any unfriendly vampires or even faeries-faeries hate Iron.
(between teeth/annoyed) Stupid little mundie. You could have gotten Jace killed.
Our playboy, badass with a soft spot for Clary.
Looking for a hard masculine voice that can also be soft with seemingly no effort.
(cocky and slow; intimidating) Demons, religiously defined as hell's denizens, the servants of Satan, but understood here, for the purposes of the Clave, to be any malevolent spirit whose origin is outside our own home dimension- (cut off)
(confirming) Right, it's not one-way. We may not always like Downworlders, but they don't always like us, either. A few hundred years of the Accords can't wipe out a thousand years of hostility.
(suddenly and confidently) So are you and very different from how she is, and she can't help but notice it. She's always wanted to be small and delicate, you know. She hates being taller than most boys.

Looking for a masculine, serious toned voice.
Isabelle hails from one of the greatest Shadowhunter dynasties in history. This girl, on the other hand, hails from New Jersey.
Only Rouge vampires drink human blood from living people and those, we're allowed to kill.
(extreamly pissed and shook) Don't you ever, ever, say anything like that to him or I'll kill you. I swear on the Angel, I'll kill you. (whispered)
Clary, you're an artist, like your mother. That means you see the world in ways that other people don't. It's your gift, to see the beauty and the horror in ordinary things.
In retrospect, perhaps the raid on the Dumortnwas not as well-planned as it might have been.
There is. We just don't answer it much. Sometimes, if they're bored, some of the cubs will deliver some mu shu pork.

These three lines are all lines that this character speaks.

Clary and Jocelyn's downstairs neighbor who claims to be a witch.

A very creepy and ugly lower demon. Looking for a creepy, hiss-like monster voice.

Looking for a kind of whispery, soft males voice. He is pretty emotionless, so monotone is prefered.
It is likely that she had the assistance of a warlock in her disapearance. Most Shadowhunters cannot so easily escape the Clave.
The Brothers of the Silent City do not lie. If you want the truth from me, you shall have it, but I shall ask of you the same in return.
Those who die in battle are burned, their ashes used to make the marble arches that you see here. The bone and blood of demon slayers is itself a powerful protection against evil. Even in death, the Clave serves the cause,

A waitress. Nobody is really sure what her race is. Maybe an ifrit, maybe part-fey, maybe even a nixie. Who knows.

Looking for a smooth voice that has a more feminine tone. Not sterotypical gay, but a feminine man with lots of swagger.
(bored/uninterested) I invited none of the Moon's Children, Precisely because of your stupid little feud. If any of them decided to sabatoge your bike, they weren't a guest of mine, and are therefore... *pause for a smile* Not my responsibility.
(practically purring; goating/proud) I'm memorable, it's true. (matter-of-factly) You shouldn't remember me, I threw up a glamour as hard as a wall as soon as I saw you. You should have run right into it face-first-- psychically speaking.
(very angry/pissed off) I didn't damage you. Every teenager in the world feels like that, feels broken or out of place, different somehow, royalty mistakenly born into a family of peasants. The difference in your case is that it's true. You are different. Maybe not better-- but different. And it's no picnic being different.
(loud/very angry) *yelling* MAGNUS BANE! (extreamly pissed, but no longer yelling) Someone just poured holy water into the gas tank on my bike. It's ruined. Destroyed. All the pipes are melted.
(still pissed) *baring teeth* I want to know who did it. I thought you swore there'd be no wolf-men here tonight, Bane.

(confused and disbelieving) Let me get this straight, you're offering to trade Raphael's life for a rat?
